High salaries for people in sports are not detrimental to sports because it offers the players a chance to get their talents’ monetary worth. Sports in the contemporary world focus on tapping the talent and helping the players achieve their best performance. It is apparent that the most popular sports activities in the world have attracted very large fan bases across the world. This change has compelled teams to start offering their best players high salaries to maintain them in the teams.
For instance, in football, the players have to be offered very enticing contracts with high salaries to have the desire to remain in the respective teams. It is also apparent that teams in the various football leagues compete for very high prices, and they have developed very deep pockets that enable them to poach players from their rival teams. Players take part in sports for fame, personal satisfaction, and money. It would be detrimental to deny the sports persons the chance to make higher salaries that entice them to keep improving their form in the game.
Sporting activities are no longer an activity of leisure for the participants; it is a career that the people dedicate their lives. Pursuing a career in sports should be rewarded as other careers like nursing, business, and other high paying careers. Most of the opponents of high salaries in sport fail to understand that the sports persons dedicate their lives to work hard (Covell and Walker 328). The players spend most of their time getting fit and practicing for perfection in their game. These processes are quite tiring, and they deserve to be rewarded adequately. High salaries are not detrimental to sports, in fact, high salaries are a source of motivation for the persons involved. It is rewarding, and it compels the players to get better to earn more from their teams.
FIFA Masters Application
I am applying for FIFA masters to enhance my knowledge in managing human resources. I have gathered extensive experience in dealing with people, and I am acquainted with the difficulties that managers face when handling players, especially when matters of diversity are concerned. I have acquired certification in communication skills, and I believe that I would be better placed with a master’s degree.
During my tenure at the Emirates Airline, I gained a lot of experience in managing human resources, and I believe that I can manage a team based on the talents held by its members. Human resource management is the essence of managing a sports team, and I am confident that I am seasoned to provide the best results. The FIFA masters will help me understand the dynamics of the FIFA association, and it will help me to better understand the requirements of managers within the association.
I hope to gain knowledge on managing players and developing strategic plans to enhance team performance. I also hope to understand the different dynamics of the FIFA association. My goal is to complete the course and pass in all my exams. I am hoping to get a chance to be admitted to the course.
If I fail to get a chance, I will continue probing into gaining more knowledge in human resource management. I have a passion for dealing with people to generate high-performance teams, and I will follow my dreams. I am looking forward to getting admitted into the course.
