Handguns are a nonspecific class of weapons to be different from long guns and revolvers. Studies and researches have documented that thousands of crimes were committed with handguns in the United States. Women and children face severe problems through the abuse of handguns. Police and other welfare agencies have documented the fact that handgun usage among school children contributes to severe discipline problems and violence in schools. Family income and race are significantly related to teenagers’ gun use. Studies have mentioned the fact that a large number of youths in the higher education field have used revolvers in their lives. Here, one can support the hypothesis that education affects people’s attitude to support handgun sales. Teens have often shown their readiness to carry handguns because guns are easy to carry a weapon and it is very essential for everyday life. And they also point out that it is a suitable weapon for self-protection and existence in the world.
It is crystal clear that people who have higher education especially adolescents show their positive attitude to promote handgun sales in the United States.
The educator’s alcohol use, drug use, smoking, etc are the main factors associated with the gun-carrying of adolescence. The murder rate with guns in the United States is higher than other developed nations. From Abraham Lincoln to John F Kennedy four US presidents was assassinated by the gun shot and many school students were murdered in the shooting of the killers. Here, qualitative educational tradition of the country is not a restriction before the hand or other types of gun sales. Further, higher educated people are more interested to the purchase of the guns. It exposes that the higher education is a supporting factor for the handgun sales. Mike Powers argue that; ‘‘to disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.’’ (Powers, 2003, para.1).

In the United States of America death from the injury of gun shooting is a serious problem. General higher education is a failure according to the settlement of the gun control and violence. So, there is a need for special education in the ground of responsible ownership of the guns. Here, parents and guardians have an important role because of children’s abuse the firearms in their own houses, educational institutions and neighboring places.
