Managers face “big” tasks in making business decisions that affect the company, the shareholders of the company and other stakeholders in the industry. It is important, therefore, to conduct the business in an “ethical” manner, and this call for the management to consider their ethical duties for legal and business obligations.
Nevertheless, understanding the ethical values of an organization enables the organization to meet its goals and make the company have an appropriate business culture of valuing employees (Collins 498).
The safety and security of the organization are important aspects to ensure the success of its business. Implementation of technology software calls for the management to be careful to avoid violating the ethics of the organization.
Nevertheless, as the Manager, I would ensure the rights and privacy of the employees while implementing the worker’s surveillance software and the high quality surveillance cameras as it is necessary to carry out ethical values in the industry. In addition, it is the ethics of the organization that provides the employees with adequate security of their “property” (Collins 500).
Concerning this factor, I would ensure that the employees follow the guidelines, regarding security and receive training on how to use the security systems. Nevertheless, adopting and implementing security rules would be important as the surveillance cameras need constant monitoring. In addition, I would also ensure that there are special ways in place to identify everybody in the organization for “authentication” purposes (Collins 500).
When it comes to the issue of the clients that lose funds to unknown people, I would enforce digital cameras and pictures to identify those who withdraw their cash.
