Vision and Opportunity
I have a lot of goals that I would like to achieve after graduation. To begin with, I want to take a stab at business in order to prove to myself that I am capable of overcoming difficulties. Apart from that, speaking about career, I would like to earn a lot of money in order to help my relatives and (if I will have everything I need) become a philanthropist. In the end, I want to continue my education related to business and entrepreneurship but I have not chosen the country where I want to study yet.
As for my purpose, I see it in becoming successful and eliciting my potential. Values that I would like to support being a business owner in the future include diversity, equity, and unity of employees. Personally, I suppose that implementation of these values can be seen as a winning formula. In reference to mission, I believe that I was born in order to make a positive contribution into the present situation in my native country.
If I were supposed to choose three questions defining and guiding my choices, I would define them like this:
- How can my life and lives of people I appreciate be improved?
- What is my strongest talent?
- What do I really want?
Speaking about opportunities related to current job market, I would say that job applicants speaking a few languages are really appreciated in UAE. Besides, there is a wide range of spheres such as hotel and restaurant industries to choose from for the ones aiming for starting a business. In the end, participation in charity events can definitely improve reputation of an entrepreneur.
Marketing and Implementation Strategy
As for possible market positioning statement that I could use (if I started my business), it would sound like: our furniture workshop provides customers with a selection of high-quality products and successfully implements their ideas and wishes as we really care about customer satisfaction. Thus, I would offer the extensive use of a consumer-centric approach as a compelling value that would be supposed to increase the number of standing customers.
The assumptions and features that make me different from other UAE students and many people from other countries as well include my advanced negotiating and bargaining skills, analytical skills, and a willingness to play squarely while running a business.
Risks and Mitigation
Checkpoints that I distinguish:
- Getting additional knowledge essential for an entrepreneur
- Thinking over a concept and a strategy
- Starting a business
To be sure that these goals are achieved successfully, I will use both testing tools allowing me to check my knowledge and the experience of those successful entrepreneurs I know.
As for the most important external factors that may have an impact on my future business and my educational goals, they include possible lack of financial resources and high competition. In order to mitigate these risks, I will use the following strategies:
- Review and use current information related to business
- Acknowledge my weaknesses and never stop conquering them
- Avoid underestimating my competitors
Ethics
Ethical principles I will practice in business and in everyday life will include respect for the obligations. To support this principle, I will never try to avoid fulfilling my duties.
The ones who could be my mentors include my aunt who is a very strong-willed and talented woman, my close friend who taught me to strive for the better, and Bill Gates whose story of success impresses me.
