Drug testing in the work place must look in to rights, and to determine what sorts of controls are morally permissible. In order to really determine whether or not drug testing is needed one must evaluate the connection between drug testing and the prevention of drug related harm. If corporations are responsible for harms caused by employees under the influence of drugs, they must have the ability to prevent these harms. They must therefore, have the ability to test for drug use. One theory that many people use to justify the morality of Drug testing in the work place is a theory that is called Ought Implies can. Drugs are sometimes not picked up by the test. Because of this situation, if the test is given to an employee, and he passes but then causes harm on the job due to intoxication, the corporation can not possibly be held responsible The fact is that if corporations are going to be held responsible then they are obligated to do something but not drug testing. Drug testing is clearly not the answer because they are highly ineffective. As drug usage is not so common and the testing in all cases will involve waste of time and money.

Civil rights means all those rights found within existing civil or legal codes of the nation. It helps in the recognition and protection of the law. Moral rights are not rights in the strict sense, but a moral claim, which may or may not eventually be assimilated within national or international law. The existence and validity of a moral right is not deemed to be dependent upon the actions of jurists and legislators.

Workers rights are said to be possessed equally, by everyone in the organization. Employer has a duty to protect and promote the workers rights equally. However, in practice, the workers rights protection falls upon national governments and international, inter-governmental bodies. Adequately protecting and promoting workers rights requires both employer and government ensuring the adequate provision of services and the co-operation to secure the global conditions for the protection and promotion of every employee rights.

An employer may refuse to hire or may fire a person who knowingly provides a false answer to a lawful post-offer inquiry about his/her condition or worker’s compensation history. (The Americans with disabilities act).

Generally workers right involves fair compensation, equality and appropriate working environment. Besides, employees require career development programs, training and proper equipments, motivation, trade union to secure their rights. Employees must feel rewarded, recognized, appreciated and recognize their strengths and help them to improve those they lack. Involve employees in decisions; ask them to help make decisions through consensus and collaboration.

In the decision making process, most of the employees are ignored by the management. They are forgetting the fact that more brain or ideas will make good decision than few people or an individual.It is important to communicate clearly and involve all employees in the major decision making process. But the fact is that only few employees are getting right of speech in their jobs. Right of speech is very important to understand the work related problems and also essential for adopting innovative ideas of workers.
