“Bahraini based and owned company Inoui Designs took home the prize for “Young Interior Designer of the year” as one of the winners of the Commercial Interior Design Awards 2009 held in Dubai on 15th of November. Inoui, a team of 25 members, is involved in designing, marketing and branding for residential and commercial spaces. Inoui believes in relating human and environment and, sensitizing the spaces to people.
Inoui has a unique approach towards designing of buildings and spaces. Comparing architectural spaces with other creative pursuits like music and poetry Inoui says that spaces should be such that the user can experience them. This was the second time Inoui was awarded for its works. “The company was shortlisted with three nominations in two categories, first being “Best Residential Award” for the project Al Jassrah Palace, and two nominations for title of “Young Interior Designer of the year” (“Bahraini Company ‘Inoui Designs’ wins ‘Commercial Interior Design Award 2009”). In today’s competitive scenario, it is commendable for a small firm to create and get recognition for its uniqueness. Architecture and interior design are a blend of both creativity and technology. Designing and constructing desired spaces that generate feelings and thoughts is praiseworthy.
