Introduction
The main goal of this paper is to provide a description of the museum and my personal feelings about the visit. I have recently visited Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology, which is located on West Baseline Road (“Raymond M. Alf Museum Paleontology: Exhibits” par. 1). The museum consists of two sections, Hall of Footprints and Hall of Life. Hall of Footprints has one of the largest collections of the trackway and fossil in the United States of America (“Raymond M. Alf Museum Paleontology: Exhibits” par. 1).
In turn, Hall of Life focuses on the portrayal of the flow of life by focusing on different historical periods such as Precambrian and Mesozoic. The combination of these sections allows staying closer to the history by being able to see the sceneries of the times. Moreover, the museum also has temporary exhibitions to encourage the development of students, researchers, scientists, and teachers.
Personal emotions
As for my personal emotions, it could be said that I was highly inspired by the museum since it combined interesting historical aspects. Hall of Footprints is filled with interesting exponents such as the skeletons of different animals and tracks of dinosaurs and cats. Now, I felt that the tremendous lizards were probably walking on the same ground, where I stand at the moment. This sentiment made me feel closer to the ancient times.
Moreover, the Hall of Life also helped me understand that I am an important part of history, as I am able to make some changes to the current world. In this case, I was highly inspired by the ability of the museum to collect all of the important scenes in one place. This approach created the feeling of traveling across the time and experiencing every moment with the living creatures of these periods. In the end, the museum exceeded my expectations, as I thought that it would be rather boring and uninteresting.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I highly recommend visiting this museum, as the visitors will have a chance to experience the ancient era and feel closer to the history. In this case, visiting this museum will help us understand the importance of world history and its role in our lives. Lastly, it will open a new attitude towards history and inspire new attitudes towards the development of new hobbies and interests of the students in the historical subjects related to paleontology. Now, I feel like a part of history, and I am able to control my future.
