Being driven by the competitive spirit, the participants of the sport events will strive to support each other and to show that their team is the best.

At the same time, it means that the employees working in the company will be divided into separate groups. They will not be the united team. One possible solution is to divide them on teams on the principle of the functional division of the firm. In this case, each team will be represented by the certain department.

This will prevent the competition and conflicts among the employees working together. The sport events may also be effective from the standpoint of the maintenance of the employees’ health. If the number of sick leaves per year decrease, the costs of the company will be reduced. In addition, the employees will feel themselves more capable of working. Finally, the sport games can be organized rather frequently.

The last alternative is the increase in the financial remuneration. Undoubtedly, money plays a crucial role in the motivation of personnel but not the most important one or, at least, not for every employee. It also does not support the team spirit.

Having analyzed all suggested alternatives, we can say that the sport events seem to be the most attractive one. This alternative fits the overall strategy of the company and can be used for achieving its goals. In addition, it requires fewer amounts of expenditures than the other ones.
