The CEO can work towards enhancing the internal organization’s social networks to be more cohesive this result in good relations and a sense of obligation among staff such that chances are high for retention.

The CEO should bear in mind the competitive value held by staff. Competitive value relates to a high level of expertise and ability to exhibit creativity in their area of profession. This due to the evolution of the knowledge worker with a shift in the knowledge society putting the person at the center. The CEO should acknowledge that knowledge workers own production systems and bear in their minds knowledge, information, and skill.
