Discrimination Policies and Procedures

There will be no discrimination policies to hire a student or a teacher. Admission to each class would be free from discrimination of color, caste, creed, and race.,

Smart School Policies

The gap between what is being provided by the elite schools of today and what is required of tomorrow is huge but perhaps not understood or realized fully by most parents and educationists today. Thus there exists a compulsion today to investigate the ways and means in which computers are likely to change the learning paradigm in existence today, and then to start experiments, develop techniques and methods that may be used to gain full advantage of these emerging tools in the field of education at large and imparting of instruction at particular. The resources provided by the parents, the community, industry, and civil society will be leveraged to contribute to the school’s development and growth so that schools achieve a higher level of growth. The school will uphold the following policies:

  • The use of specially designed intelligent software for a new teaching methodology and artificial/machine intelligence.
  • All classrooms equipped with a computer work desk for each student, a local area network, multimedia projection, and a CCTV system.
  • Education in a Smart School not only covers academics but provides children access to the world’s most advanced, child-safe electronic lab, music room, dramatics, yoga, karate, football, basketball, and other physical training aids.
  • Provides parents with a 24 hours asynchronous contact with their child’s progress, their teachers, the co-supervisors, the supervisors, and other supervisory staff over the internet.

Responsibilities

  • An announcement of dedication to community venture and the reason to assurance.
  • To emphasize educating prospective parents on the advantage of smart schools over conventional schools as well as to reassure them that smart schools will prepare their children to be better citizens.
  • To hire teachers quite familiar with the use of computers on everyday applications such as (i) internet browsing, (ii) e-mail, (iii) word processing, (iv) spreadsheet analysis, (v) project planning, etc.
  • Any decisions on the issue of focus for community activity are to be decided strategically both through administrators and teaching staff.
  • Development of diagnostic abilities
  • Training and education for the gathering of information on a worldwide basis
  • An amalgamation of all the assembled information and statistics.
  • Working hand-in-hand with the school.
  • Escalating career course for teaching experts to turn out to be education consultants

Training

Teachers and students will be trained to work on a specially designed work-station equipped with complete multimedia facilities, i.e. computer, sound system, projection system wireless LAN, optical mouse, etc. Special care will be taken to design these workstations to meet economic and physical requirements. For example, anti-radiation flat-screen monitors will be used to protect and safeguard the child. A camera fitted on each workstation will always keep each child in focus and will be transmitting this picture on LAN. This will allow the principal and the parents to view what a particular child and the teacher are doing at any point in time during school hours. The teacher workstation will be equipped with special software designed to continuously monitor the progress of each child along with the class statistics. Teachers will be provided comprehensive training on how to use all the equipment. Each classroom will be equipped with an overhead projection system through which the teacher will be able to address all the children simultaneously to tutor all of them into a particular task or program. It is to be highlighted here that by the very design of the Smart School, each student in the class will be able to learn at his/her own speed where the artificial intelligence built into the software will continue to motivate all students individually to perform better and better. Thus no direct comparison between the individual students will be made or announced inside the class. This will ensure that each student will follow his or her own “natural learning curve” without any stigma or undue pressure as happens in a conventional classroom. The teacher will be rigorously trained for this environment in which she will act simultaneously as a personal teacher to each student instead of a single class teacher addressing the entire class.
