Such an example is Geoffrey Canada, who was acknowledged as the country’s best social entrepreneur from 1990 to 2014 (Worth, 2020). He is defined to have this status as a philanthropic person who proved this through his business activity for society’s goodness (Worth, 2020). Social entrepreneurs’ role is crucial in the social sector as it ensures prosperity and development of different societal levels.
Geoffrey Canada’s Educational Program
Education is one of the most significant areas indicating society’s development and prosperity. Geoffrey Canada changed the model for urban education in the same way as battling poverty (Worth, 2020). He expanded the types of public schooling for children and their parents, focusing on educational and health modules (Worth, 2020). This business plan showed results in 10 years, which is justified because the school’s attendees had tremendous outcomes (Worth, 2020). However, some critics state that the program is imperfect and should be expanded; the consequences are visible and make positive changes in urban education (Worth, 2020). On the other hand, to fight poverty, more time should be provided to inspect the actual results in terms of socioeconomic status.
Although the program showed great success in the educational sector for the society, the financial hardship still needs some time to be addressed. Ten more years should be added to observe the impact of positive education on decreasing poverty. Considering the program’s successful functioning, the same operation scale should be followed to see the great perspectives in one decade. Non-profit organizations and the government help people to decrease the suffering of humans, raise awareness of adverse social conditions and events globally, and promote the importance of volunteering (Worth, 2020). The activities of both non-profit organizations and the government, which are focused on society’s needs, improve the quality of life for all people.

There are different examples of individuals who philanthropically hold their businesses and are focused primarily on the goodness of ordinary people. They make various needs accessible for middle and low-income classes. As a result, both people and a country benefit from such an activity, contributing to individual and economic advancement.
