One of the critically imperative ways to achieve this result is to create a holistic healthcare delivery system. Protecting people’s interests must be a priority if the fight against addiction is to have positive results.
Identifying Common Patterns
The implementation of strategies to help addicted people should be carried out comprehensively and fully cover all stakeholders. When solving such a multifaceted problem, it is essential to consider all aspects that may be associated with addiction. Recognizing and mainstreaming the issue of dependencies and responding to specific situations and collective community issues (Madden, 2019). Thus, a critical aspect is the provision of professional psychological assistance that will affect the well-being of the mental state of dependent people.
In addition, a neurobiological approach and brain research are imperative to understand the consequences of damage due to excessive substance use (Ceceli et al., 2022). This element can have a significant effect through further implications using individual methods. According to Nawi et al. (2021), paying attention to adolescent addiction problems is also important to ensure that people have a regular period of growing up. At the same time, the intervention methods may differ for better adaptation to age-old categories.
The identified patterns require the development of a method that can address the problem in a way that will help all addicted people alleviate their condition. Articulating appropriate options is critical as it can help further develop specific interventions that would be appropriate for specific situations. First of all, it is necessary to take into account the fact that addiction can be influenced by various variables that contribute to the formation of certain habits. Socio-economic, psychological, and social triggers must be considered to create a complete program (Roberts, 2022).
One option suitable for use after assessing all patterns is creating a center that will provide qualified assistance to people. This should be based on their experience and medical history. The implementation of comprehensive, targeted policies can help ensure that the mental health of center participants can be improved (Chandra et al., 2021). At the same time, the implementation of drug treatment also makes sense to facilitate the process of getting rid of addiction.
Developing a Community Intervention System

Breaking the marginalization of dependent people in such a context is a crucial goal that must be achieved in order for society to accept them as full members. Analyzing the factors contributing to addiction into separate categories can contribute to their more detailed and high-quality elimination one at a time. This approach is qualitative and provides complete treatment, including psychological problems. Based on environmental factors, a necessary solution is a change of environment that can help addicted people make more tangible progress towards overcoming addiction (Madden, 2019).
Adapting the strategy to each person’s personality can make the program unique. This is important because all people will have to undergo a particular course that is aimed at full recovery. In addition, interventions will have to not only eliminate the current problem but also lay the foundation for further rehabilitation and attending events for people who have overcome addiction.
The Community Advocacy Project
People with drug use disorders have significant risks of premature mortality, which is reflected in a decrease in overall quality of life. In this regard, this project is aimed at increasing life expectancy so that people who get rid of addiction can continue to live a whole life and improve their health. Since drug abuse has a significant impact on physical well-being, this aspect should be taken into account as a priority.
First, it is necessary to conduct a complete assessment of the person’s condition depending on the frequency of their drug use (Ceceli et al., 2022). Treatment within the framework of this project will have to be provided not only to adults but also to adolescents. Accordingly, this aspect of universality allows the developed assistance project to be applied simultaneously to several target groups that equally need help. The ubiquity of the application of diagnostic criteria nevertheless necessitates consideration of the principles of lifespan development (LD). They may have important differences due to the experience gained and the history of onset of addiction due to differences in age.
To do this, it is necessary to adopt measures that can be applied to people of different age categories. This nuance will ensure that all the unique needs of people are taken into account depending on their class, social security, and age. All these parameters will be taken into account to ensure compliance with the LD principle.
The choice of an approach that is based on LD is due to the fact that the provision of assistance, taking into account all variables and personal characteristics, plays a key role in how people will experience the process of providing assistance. In addition, LD has an imperative meaning in the context of understanding what factors contributed to the development of addiction in a particular case (Wampler & McWey, 2020).
Consideration of the period of a person’s maturation from infancy to late adulthood, if this has been achieved, is crucial because it allows us to develop auxiliary factors that will be able to keep people from repeating incidents with the use of prohibited substances. Identifying vulnerabilities plays a key role in creating a strategy focused on the long-term effects of abstinence throughout life. Social factors such as family influence and the social and peer environment should also be studied as they create certain expectations from a person (Reise, 2008). In this regard, certain restrictions may be recommended in order for LD integration to proceed optimally.
The project will have to make specific changes, which should be based on the areas of employment of the person. The community-based prevention program is one of the tools that will be aimed at preventive action by informing people about the dangers of taking drugs. Such programs must be tailored to suit specific age groups (Madden, 2019). For example, information prevention can take place in schools or higher education institutions. In addition, it will be necessary to implement mental health programs that will address the needs of people throughout their lives, taking into account their place of work or study. This set of impact mechanisms involves ensuring the elimination of stigma and the restoration of normal social behavior of people.

Starting work on a project to help people with addictions should be done by identifying the reasons that contribute to such behavior. Initial factors, taking into account the principle of life development, can help in understanding the reasons that served as the starting point for people to start taking drugs. Providing a complex impact on people can occur more effectively with the help of the social system in which dependent persons are located. Awareness plays an essential role in this context as it can help people overcome the factors that contribute to drug use.
