Health and human development form integral components of the overall socio-economic development of any nation. Each country formulates its financing and organization structure under its circumstances. In the same manner, health services are developed by their wealth, history, and political culture. Some models and frameworks are operational throughout the world and there are constant research and formulations to make a stable and sustainable system of healthcare. Odin Anderson is an analyst who has formulated a model of the healthcare system. This concept of healthcare is called ‘uneasy equilibrium’. It maintains a balance between public healthcare machinery and the private sector. It also includes elements where the government is instrumental in organizing and financing health services. In his market-minimized/market-maximized continuum, Anderson explains that the degree to which a state centralizes financing and planning and the relative size of its public sector determine its position in the continuum, and as well, the extent to which it influences the procedures of the economy itself. (Dollard, 2006) According to Anderson, Such transformation may be speedy or sluggish, but it is natural to the system and its speed is also normal. It is incremental, not revolutionary. The market-minimized end of the spectrum, on the other hand, focuses on the socialistic strategy of planned economies and government programs for distributive justice and aims to modify with deliberate speed and at a scheduled pace. The United States health care system has moved its position on Anderson’s market-minimized/market maximized continuum. This oscillation has affected socioeconomic, Demographics, Health status, Political areas in the United States. As a result, it is extremely important to analyze and evaluate the basic formulation of the issue and its effects on the society and national economy. Because, if this model is found flawless then it can be used in other countries too. (Ervasti, 1998) However, the concept seems flawless now.

The ministry is responsible for implementing programs of national importance like the overall healthcare achievement of the United States health care system was ranked highly by the World Health Organization. The United States expends far more than any other nation in healthcare, measured in terms of both per capita spending and percentage of GDP. This expenditure had not related to the provision of high-ranking facilities in public health metrics. (Garfinkel, 2006)ю

The shortcomings in the health care system in the United States gave rise to public dissatisfaction. Due to this reason and other reasons, the government was losing public confidence. (2005) With the new developments in the United States health care system, better medical facilities are provided to people. Various measures were taken to make the living condition of people better and hygienic. This helped in re-establishing people’s confidence in the government. People have started relying on governmental policies and supporting the enforcement of the policies. Thus, the United States health care system has greatly influenced the political structure of the United States. (King, 2005).

It can be mentioned that the change in the position of the U.S. health care system on Anderson’s market- minimized/market maximized continuum has brought about commendable changes in Socioeconomic, Demographics, Health status, Political areas. Thus, it can be concluded that the improvement in the United States health care system has resulted in overall development in the United States. (Dos, 2005) Furthermore, texts like Tones’ Health Education: Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Equity along with Unwin, Leeson, and Pless-Mulloli’s 1997 work called An Introductory guide to public health and epidemiology would be very helpful. Wright’s Health needs assessment in practice would also be relevant for the study. Analyzing and evaluating the effect of the oscillation on the Health status of the United States in the context of “uneasy equilibrium” between the private and public healthcare sectors and the effect of the oscillation on the Socioeconomic structure of the United States are the fundamental questions and aim of the research. With modernization and industrialization, the developed countries like the United States are experiencing epidemiologic Transition. (Taylor-Gooby, 1999).

One principle that healthcare already has in hand to serve towards a larger synthesis of understanding is the concept of well-being. The idea of well-being here is something like this: Of human civilization rudimentary or advanced as something a part of nature, wholly an evolutionary development within nature and therefore investigated by methods of fundamental natural science. The question of whether the welfare state belongs to the domain of science or humanities is now an outdated one. The subject of welfare is human and human things belong both to the domain of social sciences and sciences. (2005).

The United States health care system has taken several steps to educate people about health issues, provide uncontaminated food and water, safer and better living conditions. The binary between humanities and science is a constricting binary, that is, things that are thought to be purely concerns of humanities and social sciences and elements of natural science are both forms of knowledge that represent the ways that any social unit organizes its world. The claim of ‘objective’ truth commonsensical assigned to sciences has been greatly undermined since the enunciation of the welfare concepts. Human beings organize their worlds in certain ways and this organization is carried out through language. Both the social science and science have a language of its own, but the existence of these languages does not mean that these are two hermetically sealed forms of knowledge, rather these are different expression of the human engagement with the world around. Recent works on welfare formulation concentrate on multi-sited healthcare systems. However, these are results of excesses in personal lifestyle or simply be due to increased longevity, which causes the body to become more susceptible to such conditions. Consequently, in the United States populations generally suffer from considerable chronic diseases and, thus, continual healthcare is needed. As for now, the concept has not worked fully in the country and there are negative views from some quarters of the population. (Kim, 2008).

In the United States, people have become more civilized, living a very high lifestyle. However, this development has also introduced both positive and negative influences such as the use of tobacco, use of alcohol, etc which are injurious to health. Steady Industrialization and accelerating competition in the market give rise to an environment of tough competition. Competition along with more complex production and distribution environments requires identifying and reducing necessary costs, such as costs associated with development, manufacturing, distribution, and service. (Keel, 2005). This is another drawback of the concept. Without a proper economy, the sustainability of the concept is skeptical.

Thus, the Working conditions in the industries become very hazardous. Thus, a deficit of physical activity is seen in these nations. The main sources of pollution vary among nations, but in general, they result from motor vehicles, power plants, industry, and residential heating and cooking devices. These affect the lung. (Kar, 2005) Anderson’s concept thus needs a change or modification. However, if the concept were implemented in other parts of the globe modifications would automatically take place. Nevertheless, the argument is not to gloss over the particular experience of the local but to place these experiences in a wider global grid to understand. It is to understand the manner local experiences are shaped. It is then responsible for the shape of the wider global grid. Through this understanding, the networks of exploitation and subservience that a certain world order imposes are understood more clearly as the local everyday manifestations can be read more critically through such a method. Welfare here is seen as the embedded macro constructions of global health order. (Kissane, 2008).

To eradicate the negative effects of development the United States health care system has taken several measures such as antismoking and anti-alcohol campaigns, restrictions were placed on advertising alcohols and tobacco products, declining the percentage of tar used in cigarettes, and educate people about health issues. (Meyers, 2001). The United States health care system educated people about proper diet and nutrition. To maintain physical activity organizations were directed to provide a recess to the employees for physical exercise. Many measures were taken to reduce air pollution. Provisions were made for safe and healthy working conditions in organizations. These resulted in the growth of incentive and dedication among the employees. This again resulted in economic growth and an increase in the per capita income of people. Thus with the efforts of the United States health care system Socio-economic structure of the nation has improved. (Fletcher, 2006).
