A project timeline is a critical factor that determines the success of the upcoming project and provides the plan for managing all the responsibilities and preparing everything necessary in time. Discussing the creation process helps clarify the idea and the work it demands, which is crucial for the team to have a clear view of future events. It also creates a sense of involvement for all team members and ensures that everyone participating strives for the same purposes and aims (York, 2021). Developing a project usually means that many different kinds of work need to be done in a specific chronological order to create a quality result moving forward step by step.
Hank correctly notices that before planning, the whole project has to be evaluated and appropriately measured to have an understanding of the scale of the work. It is also essential to keep in mind that the stakeholder will observe the project timeline, and it should be well-structured with the marked deadlines and required actions (Hennigan and Bottorf, 2021). Hank suggested a very useful piece of advice about breaking the tasks into more minor activities to give a better understanding of the processes that are going to happen. It can be hard to evaluate the scale of future work and calculate all the required resources and the amount of time that it will consume, so each aspect of the project should be divided into more detailed blocks (Kulakov, 2020). Overall, Hank has done a great job researching the topic of the project timeline and mentioned the most crucial and significant parts of the work, dividing them into chronological order stages.
The topic of smoking and especially regulations connected with smokers and the industry as a whole still raises many questions and brings the public to debates and controversies. As the teacher mentioned in the response, it is undoubtedly a significant step that the government listens to the demands of the public concerned with health and implements some regulations. Cancer is one of the most widespread and terrifying diseases since often people do not know about its existence until it is too late or cannot cure it even with innovative medicine (Whyte and Nanez, 2019). Although tobacco is a legal product and cigarettes are forbidden, it does not mean that there should not be any regulations (Hawkins, 2019). Smokers can choose whether to buy a new package of cigarettes or not, but if the price is relatively high and the person does not have a high income, they might eventually refuse to pay (Lawrence, 2019). Indirectly it affects humans’ everyday habits, and after some time, there is an actual possibility of quitting smoking or at least doing it significantly rare than usual.
Therefore, it is hard to agree with the teacher that lobby groups have too much power over public health since it has been proven many times that cigarettes are incredibly harmful. The public seems to tend to easily consume everything that can promise a short-lasting pleasure but with the possibility to get it regularly and at a relatively low price, such as alcohol and tobacco. Lobby groups, with their concern regarding public health, protect the population by lowering the affordability of cigarettes and by saving someone’s life.
