The person I have chosen for the project is 24-year-old man David. However, coaching may be very helpful for individuals and organizations, the individual needs specific qualities to perform the task successfully. The coach, coachee, and organization must all be aware of what coaching can and cannot do in order for teaching to be excellent. A coach cannot fix a passive client; instead, a coach is a mentor and motivator for the person’s self-motivated improvement. Coaches may motivate, educate, equip, and counsel, but the individual must work hard and make the most of those tools (Who makes a good candidate for coaching on your team, 2017). A coach can provide the tools, but it is up to the individual to decide whether to use them. Thus, the choosing the person for the coaching, it is necessary to consider all of these factors
David is enthusiastic about receiving coaching or, at the very least, self-improvement. Interest is a simple concept to grasp; he is open to change. David is also receptive to fresh viewpoints and concepts. I believe he will not ignore the coach’s advice and strictly follow all the requirements. Since the goal of coaching is to help people better themselves, the participant must be open to considering their strengths and faults, which I observe in the chosen person for that purpose (Who makes a good candidate for coaching on your team, 2017). He is a perfect candidate because David possesses an emotional toe in order to offer and receive constructive feedback. This results from a healthy feeling of humility characterized by a readiness to be sincere with oneself (Shapov, 2020). This is critical for cooperative relationships and successful outcomes of the coaching.
