Introduction
We propose to present a five-star hotel and hospitality leisure business in my country, which is the best tourist attraction in the world with many visitors trooping in and out of the country throughout the year.
Market
After thorough investigations and survey on different aspects of businesses we decided to introduce this line of business which includes a shopping mall, car rental services(pick up from the airport and at different points countrywide), bureau de change, game arcade (amusement park), a banking mall, therapeutic and health resort center, and also Safari tour arrangement section, which arranges tours for our guests to see the tourist attraction center both here in the city and the neighboring attraction centers’ in different parts of the country. This will be beneficial to tourists and visitors from all parts of the world at their comfort with pre-arrangements with all necessary arrangements before or on arrival.
We have it in mind to work out the accomplishment of this project and make changes to advance the efficiency of the business. The shopping mall will serve both the guest of the hotel and the public, hence a good source of revenue to the business at large.
Government Permits/Legal aspects
Since our business will serve both local and international clientele, we plan to create awareness and also reduce the price of our services to the public in turn to create a growing collection of successful clientele. At the start, our pricing control will be slightly lower than that of other international standard hotels. On the other hand, we expect the business to be built by the high standard of services rendered to the clientele to direct a higher plan of rates than average. As a result, we are keen on maintaining a leveled pricing standard. We will promote and carry out exhibitions that will address both international and local clientele (Fullen & Podmorof, p. 17).
We will embark on quality awareness and this will be achieved by making sure that proper advertisements are done both locally and internationally through the media houses, distribution of handbills, billboards, also by creating an international standard website to enhance proper view and understanding of the nature and quality of our business. The business will operate a 24-hours business system with adequate security (Smith).
The growth trend for the hotel and hospitality leisure business is on the increase at a recorded rate of 80%, with a large turnout of visitors who come for seminars, conferences, exhibitions, and holiday trips. The local citizens will also find it an interesting place for holding their private functions like weddings, meetings, seminars, honeymoon, and lodging and we will be focused on providing all aspects of hospitality at the same time avoiding competing with major players in the industry. To beat the high competition in the industry, we intend to introduce a life band presentation. Recently the hotel and hospitality industry has grown dramatically with an increase in turnover during the previous year making it worth investing in.
The hotel will employ specialized staff with high knowledge of hotel and hospitality for our clientele this will be done by a consultancy firm conducting interviews and choosing the best candidate for various positions in the organization. Our staff will be provided will have similar attire for ease of identification by the clientele. The organization will put into consideration all the requirements of the labor law to avoid any future misfortunes (Fiore, p. 79),
Financing the Business
After a thorough search of the business name, all necessary steps will be taken in the registration of the business with the relevant government authority as per the rules and regulations guiding such business. The major purpose will be based on hotel and hospitality with services of supermarket mall which will also serve as major income revenue for the organization.
The hotel will be located in a highbrow commercialized area within the city, it will comprise of 1000 luxurious double and single rooms, tastefully furnished with communication equipment This is one busiest town and the best for most business ventures hence high-interest prospects (Fullen & Podmorof, p. 52).
The most important fraction of the commencement costs will come from an investment bank, which I have consulted for a loan since there are sources of repayment, and they are willing to embark on this project. We have also mapped out some money from other businesses which we have been running and these funds will be the main source of original working capital. We have a fixed bank deposit that is reserved for future occurrence or risk.
As the initiators of this project, we would like to know the following:
- When our guests will come to survey the locality of the site analysis
- The percentage they are planning to contribute
- The modalities involved in the project
- The urgency involved in embarking on the project
- Any other idea or advice they have in the completion and running of the project and against conflict and future risk.
