The last episode of the Crash Course Theater is one of the greatest American musical inventions, which includes singing, dancing, and performing simultaneously. The musical compositions have been played almost in every part of the world and sometimes on cruise ships. Hamilton is included in the Crash Course Theater composition, and it is played by one of the most professional composers Alex Lacamoire who received a Tony and Grammy for his excellent representation of the masterpiece. The musical leader has been developing the skills from working with different professionals in this industry, and the Lacamoire is a person who represents different unique techniques retrieved from others. These methods include the body language and the facial expression that shows the emotions of the orchestra throughout the musical. The conductor has an exceptional talent for making the orchestra play in unison, which means all together at the same time as this skill takes a lot of time to be developed and improved.
The beginning of the musical is unclear, and the tempo of the music is presto, meaning too fast. The story becomes uncertain, and it becomes complicated to understand the idea because of forte or strong loud. However, when the tempo modifies to Meno Mosso and the flow becomes slower, the listeners can catch the deep meaning of the musical and stay attracted till the end of the playing. There were more fascinating parts of the musical than disappointing, and the fine or the ending part of the composition forced me to study the story of Hamilton in more depth.
When the musical is played in special locations with a special acoustic, the interest is more significant than outdoor playing. However, when a professional conductor controls the orchestra, listeners’ experiences might not be changes. Special concern halls might have an equipped technology that can make crescendos and decrescendos, which means a gradual increase in volume and softness of the sound when needed. Moreover, the artificial lightning makes the atmosphere in theaters more fascinating, and people can dive into the specific time presented in the musical scenes. The external sound of cars and manufactural works might disrupt outdoor performance causing Forissimo which means a very strong loud. Consequently, I believe that the presentation of Hamilton indoors in the equipped hall can improve the visitors’ experiences.
The musical takes the listeners to the times when Alexander Hamilton was one of the United States’ founding fathers. The orphan who managed to overcome many obstacles to become an influential figure in society. The way the character is complicated and the story motivates me as a listener to become a better version of myself. Even though some parts of the musical were Prestissimo, meaning as fast as possible, and it was hard to understand the meaning, I was surprised and inspired by the professionalism of the orchestra in which people express their feelings through music. The key part of the masterpiece that influenced me most is the duel where Hamilton had to take part. The character can be considered a brave and positive role model for many listeners.
My personal experience from listening to the musical is incredible. I will take a chance to visit the performance in different places with different conditions to gain an unalike experience to understand if the atmosphere around the musical makes shows the work from different perspectives. Moreover, I will try to listen to a recording available online to find hidden stories and aspects of the described story and see if the Ad Libertum which is a performer improvisation plays a significant role.
