The Steps to Initiate the Training of All the Employees
As an accounts receivable unit manager in a large accounting firm, employees should train on the new billing system. The staff includes a management team of 17 people that comprises seven on the day shift and five on the evening and night shift. Therefore, training the employees, 6800 total hourly employees on all three shifts is necessary. Evaluating the training requirements to succeed is crucial (Noe & Kodwani, 2018). Additionally, setting corporate training objectives that identify any existing gaps is necessary.
The Training Methods to Use and Why
Training methods for a large accounting firm include team training, job shadowing, and mentoring. Job shadowing is an ideal training method because it generates interest and engagement on all three shifts (Munoz-Lopez et al., 2022). Mentoring is beneficial because it has a personalized touch that benefits the employees. Team training is an effective coaching method because it connects members and engages. Team training is quite essential where all the members are assembled and trained.
