The world is turning into a global village and good communication skills blended with knowledge, intellect or innovation will see one’s success.
With acquisition of knowledge one will have the integrity and the technical skills. Knowledge works to replenish one’s intellect and one is in a position to think creatively and mindfully. Creativity is a vital aspect especially since it ensures innovation of beneficial ideas. Good intellect will make life more satisfying and a person will consequently excel. It also allows continued growth or development.
Being focused to attain one’s goals enhances on one’s intellect. An observant person has a positive mind that enables him or her to learn or adapt to new environments. A knowledgeable person will be able to look on the positive aspects in life. He or she will be able to ignore that which pulls him or her down and will focus on the goal and work towards it. Education ensures the acquisition of knowledge and this will ensure that one establishes his or her talents and pursue them through continued study. Again in this global world one should be flexible enough so that when technology and other forms of advancements are phased of one can be able to fit in effectively. A flexible person is fast and keen to learn new ideas. He or she can therefore pursue new interests without complain (Dilcock L, p. 20).
Effective communication is appropriate in all springs of life. Good communication sees the expansion of businesses as people can negotiate effectively. One ought to be very observant of what is happening around him or her and should be able to adjust accordingly. A smart person will be set specific goals which can be measurable and attained in a specific time period. In attaining these goals being curious while using all the senses will be important. Good communication will enable someone to have good social interactions. One will be able to have respect for each other. Through interactions one is well informed of opportunities surrounding him or her (De Janasz et al, p.30).
Acquisition of knowledge and good communication skills are the most important skills that will see one excel in today’s global society. Without them life will not be fulfilling and a person’s success in life will be undermined. It is therefore important to seek effective communication to ensure good social interactions as well as acquiring knowledge through continued pursuit for education. Good attitude ensures that a person has self discipline and is accountable for his or her own being.
