The uneven allocation of resources is reflected in class inequality. More wealth, in most circumstances, indicates more power or more options. The problem with such a subjective evaluation is that some persons claim to be in a social class that is not supported by objective standards. Sociologists dispute the range of social groups in the United States, although the traditional belief is that there are four: upper, middle, laboring, and lower (Mooney et al., 2021). There are also differences between the upper and middle classes.

People in America keep suffering from unemployment, homelessness, and hunger, despite eight billionaires holding half of the country’s wealth. The actual issue is that while GNP has increased, worker salaries have not increased significantly. The lack of purchasing power in the hands of ordinary citizens hampers economic progress and contributes to the poor’s increasing impoverishment. Mortgage interest payments can be deducted from a person’s tax bill if they buy a house with a mortgage. This exemption aims to promote increased homeownership on the premise that individuals who own homes are more anchored in their communities and care more about them. Summing up, I can say that the United States of America should make changes in state policy to blur the line between social classes.
