The lens of natural and applied sciences provides a distinct perspective that is not found in other lenses. It concentrates on technology and digital aspects as specific tools invented by humans to make life simpler. While the humanities study human behavior as well, social science lens examines people’s social interactions, interactions, and societies in greater detail. People attain social wellness once they are capable of forming and preserving sustainable, reciprocal connections with others around them. Cultivating healthy, caring, and supporting connections, as well as establishing a true connection with the surroundings, are all part of social wellness. The influence of social media on social wellness is significant since currently a substantial part of interpersonal communications and contacts is done utilizing social networking cites. Physical, mental, social, moral, and intellectual wellness are the five basic dimensions of wellbeing, and all of them can impact one’s field of study or profession since they are linked to a person’s everyday activities. Social wellness in social media affects people from the side of suggesting and promoting innovative techniques connected to increasing the level of wellness, which is crucial.
Health experts from many fields, as well as the patient, collaborate as a group in an interdisciplinary approach. From the perspective of interdisciplinary approach, contemporary issues in healthcare systems have a considerable influence on modern society since these problems have roots in different professional spheres related to medicine. Concerning the recommendations of potential applications of strategies for monitoring and enhancing personal and public wellness, it is feasible to emphasize a psychiatric approach. Psychiatrists have a wide range of techniques in their expertise to help people maintain wellness in the face of hardship and life pressure (Gengoux & Roberts, 2018). These methods include psychotherapy and meditation practices, as well as daily routines that have been shown to increase happiness, such as physical activity and connecting with family members (Gengoux & Roberts, 2018). Thus, as a proposition, the psychiatric and mental part of wellness can be highlighted in order to practice the promotion of health and wellbeing.
