The Black-eyed peas were voted as the most corporate band in America in 2010. This music band has been a spokesperson for many products. Reason for being chosen to endorse various products is because they have a global fan base. In this case, most people in the world get to view promos and adverts. The group has a feel of the various ethnic groups as members of the band come from different ethnical groups. The band gives careful thought to its marketing strategies taking calculated steps (Sanna 2008).
The Black Eyed Peas has promoted Pepsi, Honda, Apple, and other products. This group has created strong party anthems with powerful dance beats, special effects, and repetition, making the adverts memorable, captivating, and attractive to their fans. The group has been able to capture a large target group. The Black-eyed peas have been able to appeal to both kids, the old, and youths at the same time and that a critic once recognized that the group achieves things that are nearly impossible (Jurgensen, 2010b).
Advertisements and endorsements show a clear relevance and should have a clear link between the endorser and the brand. On the other hand, it can also show irony. This is also a very strong element when it comes to endorsements. Products best suited for endorsement by this band are Phones and cars for the energy and fun in using these products (Jurgensen, 2010a).
The rock bands are usually serious and with a lot of energy and roughness in making their music. Thus, they are best suited to advertise drinks. Country music usually touches on real-life situations. This music genre is not vigorous and should endorse certain activities. This music has a sense of sophistication and can thus endorse very luxurious products like houses and cars.
The target market for the black eyed peas’ concert would largely be the youth. The message on the television advert would be the theme of the concert the advert would show the artists perform and the expectations of the D-day to make the targets long for the concert, and indeed ensure they attend. The concert date, costs, venue, and artists are pervasive throughout the advert. The advert must have a strong theme or objective. The advert is very captivating and memorable (Norris, 2010).
A print advert in a local university newspaper would be to inform the university fraternity of the concert to be held and by the Black eyed peas. The advert will indicate the date, charges, and the venue where the concert will be held. The print advert will appear as follows:

The Black Eyed Peas are here to entertain! The student fraternity of the University of California can now get ready for the famous and talented Black Eyed Peas who will be gracing the talent show on the 4th of March 2013. The event shall be held at the university’s Main Hall. Charges are $25 only. The event starts at 8:00 PM till dawn.
Apart from magazines, Food products, pharmaceutical products, and books would not be suitable to be advertised by the black eye peas. In this case, they introduce a party mood and dance in their adverts. The endorsements for the black peas ought to show life in its fullest where people are energetic and a party mood. Products that need seriousness do not fit in the category of being endorsed by the Black Eyed Peas.
