Introduction
The culture of excellence of VNS Health’s mission, values, and vision is reflected in the fact that a team of specialists is working to provide effective and cost-effective patient care at home. The mission of the company is to provide various care and medical services to people at home. The vision is to be a leading payer and provider of comprehensive, cost-effective health care at home and in the community (VNS Health). The values of the company include the common beliefs of the team members that are aimed at achieving the goals of the entire enterprise.
Discussion
The mission, vision, and values of the company are very similar to my personal philosophy of nursing and core values. I believe that the care provided to patients should not only be as comfortable and effective as possible but also cost-effective. The difference is that this type of care should be provided not only at home but also within medical institutions. The mission and values are reflected both in the organizational culture and the company’s leadership. The company’s management is working to support the entire team’s core values constantly, to be honest and empathetic, and thereby maintain care and commitment to their work. As for the organizational culture, the company’s employees aim to improve themselves in patient care to develop their company and provide high-quality services to people.
Conclusion
As a strategy for guidance that can be applied to support a culture of excellence in my future MSN role, one can highlight such as equal treatment of each patient. This strategy will fully support the culture of excellence, as it is the fair treatment of each patient that is the key to success and genuine professional care. Currently, the issue of equality is very acute, since almost everywhere people can notice unfair treatment of people of different races, nationalities, genders, etc. A company whose strategy will be equal and fair treatment of all people will be one of the most effective (Scott & Thompson, 2019). It will also have a beneficial effect on my future role, as I will be able to work and help different people who need it.
