Of all the current applied areas of microbiology, the use of microorganisms in medicine interests me the most. There, we can use microorganisms to treat and prevent diseases, create new medicines and vaccines, and even produce immunoglobulins. This field has great potential for progress and development, which will undoubtedly improve the lives of people around the world.
