Introduction
In reaction to the wondrous Oblivion, I found myself with many mixed feelings. I found myself often feeling dissatisfied with the actions of David on how he manifests love and sexuality in this film as it includes many harsh realities on the spectrum of love, individual freedom, and relationships. There are many aspects I chose to look at when preparing to write this paper. The use of violence is one and also the main theme in this movie. I chose to take my own personal stand on the issue, which includes my own opinions, feelings, and thoughts on the many controversial events social interactions such as violence and love, together with tolerance and social equality. The subject of intolerance especially to children under the age of thirteen really discourages my view on the roles of family and individual freedom that makes people feel disgusted as they get repeated exposure to violence. Furthermore, I sternly felt that practices of violence make children get desensitized and arouse unnecessary fear in their life.
Main Body
This film has greatly impacted the attention of the reader, and it has changed my view on the conceptualization of love. Being one of the targeted audience or readers of this material, I believe that this discourages the reader’s way of thinking since the final outcome is not comparable to the expectation of the wider view of the society. Thus, the film has a negative impact on society, since by the moment the reader gets to the end of it, s/he might have changed and adapted a negative attitude toward true love and the understanding of the meaning of sexuality. To a greater level, I feel negative about this movie because it manifests hatred amongst children and specifically how it has painted hatred on grounds of racism. Its conceptualization of racism has led to divisions in society. Despite David suffering from negative elements of growth, he is brilliant and intelligent. He is able to manifest himself as someone capable of causing joy and pain in others.
The combination of comedy, tragedy, and mystery makes it an interesting film for everyone. The vivid imagery and the intricate details that unfold in the film clearly depict the emotional state that the author wants to keep the reader under. The meaning of the film remains hidden until the reader reaches a superbly balanced climax. It surprises that what looked like a mystery suddenly falls in place. But as the readers think they have the story figured out, it all changes, conspicuously showing the uncertainty which human beings face in life. In view of that strongly hold a negative intrinsic opinion.
The film is a must-read for all college students. It is superbly written with something interesting for everyone. Unlike films that kick with lots of energy only to die out in the middle, wondrous is captivating to the end. The listener or audience will definitely love the beauty and the culture of the British as elaborated in the movie. The film is set in such a way that it is able to speak to the listeners and watchers on all levels.
Conclusion
Hence, in conclusion, this movie affects the reader’s conceptualization of love, sexuality, friendship, neighborhood, and family social issues such as marriage. It really teaches the audience lessons on the changing nature of the contemporary world and how the human being is subject to change. Thus, this inclination provokes negative responses from most of the viewers.
Hence, the filmmaker did not consider the probable effects and consequences of the film to the entire society especially to the young and unlearned.
