The need to maintain physical wellbeing is the most fundamental component of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. It includes essential items like food, water, and air. Once the physiological needs have been met, safety and security needs are the next priority.

Once physiological and safety needs have been satisfied, the need for social acceptance and love has to be fulfilled as well. It includes issues like family, relationships, and intimacy come in. All human beings also need to satisfy their self-esteem and ego so that they can feel valued and respected. When a man reaches the self-actualization step, he/she is said to have realized his/her full potential.
