There has been a rise in the number of patients seeking care at out-of-town medical institutions, which is brought on by a shortage of doctors to treat their medical issues. Most patients in the United States lack a guarantee of high-quality healthcare, despite expectations that the country is sufficiently advanced to provide superior medical care to all patients (“Physician Oversight of Specialized Emergency Medical Services,” 2019). There are many places where getting access to healthcare of high quality is still tricky. Patients still have to travel great distances to get to sophisticated healthcare facilities, and such facilities do not always have the resources to handle exceptional cases. This meeting’s goal is to develop plans to enhance the number of doctors working in healthcare facilities.
Background and Key Participants
The Committee was established primarily to address the growing number of complaints regarding the standard of medical services provided by the health services. It is consists of three subcommittees under their direction, and has considerable authority over our nation’s employment, retirement, and health care policy (About, n.d.).The population seeking specialized and skilled medical care is growing, but the number of doctors hired each year cannot keep up with the surge in patient demand (Kurpas et al, 2021). The leader in the House of Representatives, the health committee, representatives from the union that represents physicians, and a representative from the Treasury will make up the Committee. Due to the issue’s importance to the nation’s reputation, these specialists are better situated to ensure that it is brought up on the house floor and that most members support them.
The health committee is a good fit for the Committee since it will develop plans to recruit doctors and boost the number of doctors on staff. They are fully informed about the available medical facilities and the specialists that provide care there. Based on the number of health cases reported each day in various health facilities, representatives from the physicians union will present data on the qualities of physicians needed in the facilities.
Physician Hiring Program
The Committee concluded that it was necessary to develop a program that would be used to hire physicians and would be focused on addressing the shortcomings seen in the healthcare facilities after engaging in numerous discussions with committee members. The Committee thought it was crucial to gather all the information regarding the number of physicians needed by hospitals and other healthcare facilities. According to a thorough analysis, some healthcare facilities need cardiologists, nephrologists, urologists, and other specialists (“Physician Oversight of Specialized Emergency Medical Services,” 2019). Hiring will start in the regions considered to be severely impacted by the physician shortage.
Stakeholder Positions
After in-depth conversations with the committee members, it became clear that physicians needed to be hired to raise the standard of healthcare provided to American residents. The need to enhance service delivery to the United States is driven by the daily rise in complaints, particularly in the health services managing minorities and distant locations (Kurpas et al, 2021). Since it can hire doctors, the health ministry must be involved at every procedure stage.
Key Interactions
The Committee members were chosen based on their political and professional clout, and their interactions with one another were determined by the statistical information that doctors and other health committee members gave. The members choose to start by simply listening to the physician’s complaints and the members’ workplace experiences. Since everyone agreed that there was a need for more doctors in healthcare institutions, the other members were given a chance to respond and share their thoughts on how the situation would be handled.
Meeting Outcomes
After the meeting, all participants agreed that more doctors were needed in healthcare institutions and that this could be accomplished by creating a program for hiring physicians. Everyone agreed that the standard of healthcare could not be compromised, which is why hiring health professionals is necessary. The main goals are to ensure that all individuals, regardless of status or geography, have access to high-quality services and to have complaints about the quality of health care amicably resolved.
