They should ensure that ethics of culture are embraces within the organisation. For instance, HR department should employ formal ethics officer with the mandate to spearhead and monitor various ethical behaviours in the company.

In the company, ethical decision making requires stipulated virtues set to guide the entire process. ADNOC must establish and enact its ethical guidelines that can be used to resolve critical ethical issues. These must be verified for validity, relevancy, and vastness in the realms of applicability.

The main unethical behaviour at ADNOC

One of the major practices that is common within the organisation and which is considered to be unethical is bribe taking. Some of the workers and senior persons in the company are always taking bribes from the customers. The bribes are majorly given to facilitate transactions or to be granted supplying contracts unlawfully. Conflict of interest is also another unethical behaviour which is being experienced in ADNOC Company.

Majority of the managers and workers are only after their own self-interests hence they are able towards achieving the goals and objectives of the company. Ethics incorporates core values and principles that guide execution of activities in various settings. The values are crucial in ensuring the realisation of accurate results and quality performance in ADNOC.

Various business activities have ethical standards that employees are expected to conform to with diligence. Ethical standards are set to foster sanity and facilitate execution of activities with utmost decorum in the ADNOC Company. As noted before, ethical principles are critical in conducting both local and international businesses. That is, the guidelines advance sanity and the realisation of factual results.

Ethical standards in research settings require researchers to practice fairness, display subjective respect, exhibit confidentiality, and formulate structured methods of communication. This is to enhance social coherence and build a strong relationship between individuals within the company.

Main ethical safeguards the company is able to adopt

In the ADNOC’s context, the company is able to train its workers periodically on the importance of embracing good ethical behaviours within and outside the company. Additionally, they have provided some rules and regulations that would govern issues related to ethical behaviours. ADNOC is also carrying our regular checks on the audit system and some of the reporting systems to ensure that workers are able to embrace good ethical behaviour.

They are also employing some professionals who are given the mandate of ensuring that there is full compliance. The ethical standards are set to ensure acquisition of credible corporate participation in the business contexts. Firstly, the acts of arrogance or lack of respect to others is detrimental when conducting businesses. This explains the reason for the development of viable ethical principles when executing fieldwork activities.

Precisely, the identified code of ethics includes fairness, respect to human dignity, and confidential management of information. This explains the main ethical safeguards the company is able to adopt. Concurrently, respect to human dignity forms a formidable ethical value that ADNOC must adopt.

To attain effective and qualitative results, ADNOC’s employees should respect human dignity. Consequently, confidential management of information is vital in any department. These must be adopted in case ADNOC wants to excel in ethical management.

Progress regarding the unethical behaviour as a result of adopting some of the measures

The studies that ADNOC carries out to unveil the aspects of unethical behaviour in the company are still underway. They are executed gradually in order to develop a comprehensive report and recommendations on how to avert them. As a result of adopting some of the measures discussed earlier, ADNOC is slowly regaining its normal reputation in the oil industry.

Statistically, there are few cases of corruption being reported unlike in the past where they were out of control. Nonetheless, these are yet to be unveiled. On the other hand, trainings have been installed by the company to address the issues of unethical behaviours among the company’s stakeholders.

After thorough training, workers have now recognised the importance of practicing good ethical behaviour hence the company has realised some important advancement. This shows the progress already made. Workers have adhered to the set of rules and regulations that have been set up by the company.

It is significant to consider ethical concerns on the aspects of decision making regardless of the situation. This is evident in the answers attained through the business assessment mentioned before. Concurrently, professional standards and individual ethics possess various effects on ethical decision making.

The ethical safeguards which have not been adopted

Although most of the ethical safeguards have been adopted in ADNOC, there are still some few which have not been put into practice. This includes comprehensive workforce diversity management, racial issues, cultural tolerance, and religious disparities. The company has not put adequate measures on how to deal with the offenders; i.e. official structures on how to deal with discrimination issues.

Additionally, they are not able to respond properly on time to ensure that such vices do not occur in future. Precisely, ethical issues are important and ADNOC must consider them in this case. For example, ADNOC has failed to fully respect the privacy of workers, moral rights, and other ethical provision of the respondents, the society, or other stakeholders of the business.

It should uphold morals in its entire contexts. However, other ethical provisions relevant in this context have not been unveiled with clarity due to limited literature available on them.

Procedures which can limit the unethical behaviours being experienced in the company

In the ADNOC’s context, uprightness and fair guidance are some of the issues that can prevent the few unethical behaviours being experienced in the company. As employees, love and kindness is also supposed to be practiced within and outside the company.

ADNOC’s management is supposed to reward workers who are able to embrace viable ethical behaviours. Consequently, this will encourage other workers to achieve the same reward by practicing accepted ethical behaviour.
