Thirdly, the higher education sector is growing rapidly, so there are many opportunities for advancement. Fourthly, it is a recession-proof industry; people will always need education and training (Conn, 2018). Finally, the people in this industry are passionate about their work and honestly care about helping students achieve their goals.
Education and IT Solutions
The higher education sector comprises several institutions, including universities, colleges, and vocational schools. The sector is highly dynamic, with new institutions emerging and others closing yearly. Porter’s Five Forces Analysis will help understand the sector dynamics.
The five forces are the threat of new entrants, the bargaining power of buyers, the bargaining power of suppliers, the threat of substitutes, and the intensity of rivalry among competitors (Mugo, 2020). Each force affects the profitability and competitiveness of different institutions in different ways. For example, the threat of new entrants is high for universities because it is easy to start a university, but low for vocational schools because it is challenging.
Moreover, the government typically funds public universities and offers lower tuition than private universities. They often face competition from for-profit colleges, which offer lower tuition rates but have been criticized for their high levels of student debt and low graduation rates (Chattopadhay & Roy, 2017). Private universities are typically funded through tuition revenue and donations from alumni and other individuals or organizations. They often compete with each other to attract the best students and faculty. For-profit colleges are funded through tuition revenue, government loans, and private investors.

In summary, the name Adik University is derived from the Indonesian word “Adik”, meaning “young “(Weya, 2021). We chose this name because we want to create an engaging, supportive learning environment that all young people can feel comfortable in, since everyone wants to excel in academics. We also want to encourage students to think for themselves and become independent learners.
The institution is in higher education, which is considered stable with job security, better payment, and faster growth than fashion and small businesses. The sector is incredibly dynamic because there are vocational schools, colleges, and Universities. Strategic Position
Adik University is in the cloud computing and business information solutions industry and can use Porter’s Generic Strategies to achieve a cost leadership position. By leveraging economies of scale (when buying Information Technology (IT) infrastructure), the company will drive down the per-unit cost of its services, making it more competitive in the market.
Additionally, the company will focus on automation and process improvement to further reduce costs and improve margins. By automating storage and data analysis, the company will develop a strong brand image to differentiate itself from competitors (Grover et al., 2018). These strategies will help the company gain more opportunities to become more cost-effective and expand its client base (profitable), positioning it for long-term success in the cloud computing market. This strategic positioning will require the company to employ more personnel in the customer service sector to ensure better services to the increased number of clients.
Strategic Objectives
Cost leadership is finding ways to do things more cheaply or efficiently than competitors. It will give the company a competitive edge by offering the products and services at a lower price than the rivals (Liao et al., 2018). Achieving cost leadership is not just about slashing expenses or becoming more efficient. The business must also translate those cost savings into tangible customer benefits through lower prices, better products, or faster turnaround times (Liao et al., 2018). The company will need to be able to do this while still making a profit and delivering value for shareholders.
Skills needed to attain SMART objectives
There are four skills needed to achieve each of the SMART objectives. The first capacity will be to design and deploy cloud-based systems that meet the customer’s specific needs. Second, the capability will offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting to measure whether the system meets the customer’s needs.
The third one will be the ability to migrate existing systems to the cloud to minimize business disruption (Encalada & Sequera, 2019). The fourth skill will be managing and monitoring cloud-based systems to ensure that they remain operational and achieve relevant results. And lastly, the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest changes (timely) in the cloud computing industry.

The fourth dimension is the learning and growth perspective. The objectives focus on improving data storage and optimizing the ways of working with human capital (Maurer & Nelson, 2020). It is possible to do it using feedback from educators and students.

It is essential to ensure the data is encrypted to protect the privacy of students’ and educators’ information stored in the cloud (Chen, 2019). From the HR perspective, an IT specialist should be responsible for software and hardware issues and should control the system’s work. At the same time, all Atik University members should participate in managing and storing the data.
Disintermediation/Reintermediation, Internet of Things, Web 3.0, Industry 4.0
Reintermediation refers to the reintroduction of the agent between the end-user and producer. Cloud computing and BIS remove steps in sending and storing data between people, which illustrates this process. The Internet of Things refers to the unified system of control over various consumer devices using the Internet (Chyr et al., 2017).
It is possible to discuss it in the context of the change from Web 2.0 to 3.0, supporting this option. Cloud services and the illustration of the Industry 4.0 is connected with intelligent automation of all processes, which allows stating that these concepts are interconnected and refer to similar issues (Rand et al., 2020).
