When two famous artists come together to combine their joint talent into a single masterpiece, it is a unique occurrence that inevitably attracts the attention of the fans. History has seen many examples of such collaborations, but there are ones of particular interest. Some of these cases do not only go beyond the limits of these artists work but also cross the borders between genres and media. In my opinion, one of the remarkable examples is the collaboration between Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Most interestingly, it appears that the artists did not willingly seek feedback for their collaboration. Instead, they worked together in a spirit of unity and friendship that combined the unquestionable talent of both of them. Yet, criticism did appear as the critics were not particularly fond of this partnership (Scott, 2019). However, Warhol and Basquiat continued on their path, unhindered by the public’s doubts. Both of them were famous and successful on their own even without collaborating, which implies that this experience was mostly pleasant for them, despite the criticism.
