Introduction
Online design models integrate media most efficiently and seamlessly, in particular electronic extensions of printed or physical products. This is explained by the fact that digital projects are able to implement and combine a large number of objects and mechanisms due to advanced technological capabilities. It is important to note that this area is divided into a separate area, which is called media design (Oliszewski et al., 2018).
Discussion
At the same time, Internet resources of any nature are aimed at quick and easy consumption of information by the user (Navas, 2018). Media is often a more interesting and varied alternative to textual options. According to research statistics, 70% of users prefer to watch videos, and pictures or listen to podcasts than to read large amounts of text (González-Lesser & Hughey, 2020, p. 56). Thus, the media is able to compress and compile information for the user, which allows for interacting with large volumes in a shorter period of time (González-Lesser & Hughey, 2020). The integration of media mechanisms itself occurs in such a way that when using any site or product, additional elements are in the user’s visibility zone, unobtrusively offered as an alternative. Thus, the media are very effective tools for both providing data and consuming it.
Using the Functions of Media in Teaching
Modern communication-oriented learning prepares students for the rapid consumption of information. In addition to visual and graphic components, sound and interface capabilities are used in training. The use of multimedia interactive technologies in communicative teaching significantly improves the quality of the presentation of the lesson material and the efficiency of learning this material by students (Witt & Pertigkiozoglou, 2019). As practice shows, the use and implementation of modern technologies increases the motivation for learning on the part of individuals and there is close cooperation between the teacher and students (Dyer, 2020).
Conclusion
The most common tool in this case is the sound capabilities of media mechanisms (Martinec & Leeuwen, 2020). In addition, media opens up access to a significantly improved information search due to the simplicity of the functionality and the navigation bar (Martinec & Leeuwen, 2020). This is the second advantage of media as an element of the educational process.
