The study’s primary goal was to reduce redundancy in data collection and gather meaningful information, so it contains numerous exciting facts. Fifty thousand participants participated in the survey, and most of them were less than 50 years old, even though the average age of a registered nurse is 50 ( US Department of Health and Human Services, 2019). The sample is diverse, but several key points can be noted. Foremost is that the composition of nurses is more varied, with inherent minorities, which is crucial. Moreover, it is necessary to emphasize the high percentage of registered nurses with higher education, confirming its significance in the profession. One of the most exciting data is the wage statistics, from which one can conclude that men earn more than their female colleagues. This data is vital to know and disseminate, as equality in the workplace is one of the central principles of a democratic society.

Before information can be operated for practical purposes, it must be tested according to several formal criteria that prove its quality and effectiveness. Reliability and validity are the leading criteria that enable us to achieve this goal. Reliability signifies freedom from errors and bias; it results from verifiability and autonomy functions. It is essential because this criterion expresses the accuracy and allows one to judge how credible the data obtained is. Validity is a complex concept that permits one to scan whether the information fits the purpose. It determines efficiency and effectiveness; therefore, its practical usefulness and significance are undeniable.

A content analysis of documents is a not widespread method of collecting quantitative data contained in papers about the phenomenon or process under study. This technique and a full view of the content, in many cases, authorize the researcher to get sufficient information to solve the issue or deepen the analysis of the hardship. When conducting sociological research in libraries, the content analysis may be subjected to the reader’s forms or requirements. This method can reveal what kind of information is most demanded and in which sources it is managed.
