In religious studies, from the book of revelation, people are pooled to a certain understanding of the kind of human norms. It includes how people are supposed to live as well as what makes correct behavior. These teachings and others are examples found in the bible.
It can be noted that while the secular individual who desires to live ethically and the religious individual who desires to conduct himself using the mutual code could perform good actions to attain the same good and valuable goals, their inspiration is different. Most of the benefits that trickle down to the communities from various levels come from the taxes that the community members contribute to bolstering social and economic services. A community that pays its taxes well and on time will enjoy better services from the government than the one that fails to play this role. Therefore, failure to pay taxes will lead to a total reduction of such services within the community which is quite detrimental.

Ethical issues, on the other hand, relate to the good or bad that the services a particular organization’s operations impact on the immediate society. The tight relationship between the two is that legal and ethical considerations lead to the success or failure of an organization within a certain locality.
For instance, the BP oil spill in the gulf is a story that captured attention since it led to environmental pollution which is considered unethical and against the legal frameworks of the company’s operations. BP should have developed a control system to safeguard against such accidents from happening again that would be incomplete disagreement with the interests of the society.

The initiatives assist an organization to boost its image as well as gather the support and loyalty of the consumers within the region. Therefore, the choice of a social responsibility initiative is quite crucial. What makes other initiatives more vital than others is the direct good that it brings to that society. An example of an inappropriate choice for a social responsibility initiative is that which is not in the interest of the immediate society. For instance, constructing a swimming pool for a community that lacks classrooms for the education of children would be the wrong choice for that community that an organization operates in.

Several ethical perspectives are considered American. Within the boundaries of the United States, child labor is prohibited by law. On the other hand, child labor is accepted in Pakistan, and no law has been made against it. The ethical perspective about child labor in Pakistan is that families can increase their income. Children also keep off the streets hence ensuring their safety. In America, child labor is seen as an ethical issue. However, in Pakistan, leaving children in the streets in what is seen as an ethical issue. These are two different cultures showing divergent views.
