The outsourcing industry has become a topic of considerable interest within the past few years due to the impact it has had on the business world. The fact is that workers within the U.S. and Western Europe are in fact paid far more as compared to the their counterparts within countries such as India, China and the Philippines. As such, it is expected that the research of the author will primarily concentrate on corporate savings attained through outsourcing due to the difference in the minimum wage between two countries. Other expectations that the primary audience will have for this topic are indications as to why doing business in countries such as India, China and the Philippines is far cheaper as compared to the U.S. and Europe.
Topics such as differences in tax regulations, special economic zones where no taxation is applied to foreign corporations as well as lax environmental safety standards are among the expected points of interest that should be brought up. When it comes to the secondary audience for this topic the expectations differ considerably wherein they expect the author to reveal the problems that are associated with outsourcing which are related to concerns regarding the quality of finished products as well as loss of jobs from the country where the jobs were outsourced from. As such, secondary audiences would turn towards the work of the author as a means of proving how the practice is actually detrimental for corporations since the more jobs are outsourced abroad the more likely it is that consumers located in regions such as North America and Western Europe are unable to purchase the same amount of goods and services that they used to be able to due to the considerable decline in income brought about by the practice of outsourcing.
