Introduction
Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) is mainly concerned with alcohol and drug-related problems especially the rehabilitation of individuals who have been addicted. The community has a self-drive to give back to society by reaching out to those who have been overwhelmed by drug and substance abuse. In general, CCAR operates under two broad and clearly defined objectives. Furthermore, I have learned that funding for Non-governmental organizations that are out there to reach affected communities is still a nightmare since most of these organizations are not well endowed with the self-revolving fund to enable them to carry out their rehabilitation activities with much ease. It is worth to mention that limited funding has proved to be a real obstacle towards the full recovery cycle of victims.
