Introduction

One of the still relevant nutritional outbreaks is caused by the pathogen Listeria found in the enoki mushroom food product. This bacterium causes an infectious disease that affects the nervous system, tonsils, lymph nodes, and liver. Infected enoki mushrooms are completely contraindicated in pregnant women, people over 65, and people with a weakened naming system.

Juice Safety Article Summary

Consuming juices that have not been properly handled can cause serious risks despite the nutritional value and benefits of these drinks. Rough materials without pasteurization can lead to juice contamination, which is especially problematic for human minorities with weaker immune systems. For stores and retail services, unpasteurized juices potentially containing more nutrients should be labeled with a special label. However, The U.S. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows the absence of labels when serving such drinks in glass, for example, in juice bars or cafes. When preparing juice at home, a person needs to wash their hands with soap and warm water, and wash all products, regardless of whether they are grown at home or purchased somewhere else. Damaged areas on fruits and vegetables must be trimmed and disposed of. The disease in case of poisoning is caused in 1-3 days, but nausea begins to be felt in just 20 minutes.

Conclusion

Most people feel unwell when poisoned immediately, but cases are possible when illnesses develop over many weeks and turn out to be chronic. Symptoms include diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, but also flu-like conditions, body aches, and fevers. In the event of any suspicion of poisoning, immediate contact should be made with MedWatch, the FDA’s safety information provider.
