Regarding Type II diabetes patients, 8.5% of them are adults, and 2.8% of them are children or adolescents (Reinehr, 2013; World Health Organization, 2017). Diabetes is a serious disease that may be characterized by different complications, the most dangerous of which are blindness, heart attacks, and strokes. The World Health Organization (2017) states that people from middle- and low-income families are exposed to having diabetes more frequently than rich people.
