Based on the analysis articles and the current information in environmental alarmism, I conclude that such resources show no legitimacy through neither consistency nor reliability. These articles combine the debates that cannot be called intellectually honest because they are created in mass media form. The main aim of such debates is to attract the audience through the particular information pieces. The climate change problem actually exists and should be addressed as efficiently as possible. However, the relevant information can be gained only through reliable academic resources. The article combining the fifty years of predictions shows almost no valid information in public sources (Milloy, 2019). The alarm is spread through the mass media which is the reason for inconsistencies in climate prediction. The recent pandemic has shown that science is not what most people can understand. There should be a clear distinction between mass media noise and actual science. Any information gained today should be checked because it is the most potent weapon of the 21st century.
The problem of climate change should not be ignored because the natural cataclysms endanger the whole economic system. Proposing climate change prevention measures can help change the focus of the economy into more ecology-oriented. From my perspective, today’s research allows the successful implementation of green economics. The only problem is funding and the lack of economic opportunities of particular countries. Significant environmental changes require the cooperative work of all countries. Therefore, there is no need to seek alternative roots. The development of existing strategies will be rational approach. Environmental alarmism potentially can be divided the scientifically proven and media-related. Most people learn about environmental problems through mass media. However, people should understand that even calculations may be wrongful. The alarm statements without proper poofs have no value.
