The American Health Association (AHA) is an organization dedicated to ensuring high-quality health service provision to all individuals in the US regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, or physical attributes. As a result, it advocates for adherence to a code of ethics that dictates how medical practitioners should carry out their responsibilities and associate with patients. These moral standards also extend to healthcare organizations as they are advised to sustain high levels of transparency and accountability in all their actions. Thus, the following paragraphs describe the strategies adopted by the organization to ensure ethical conduct and commitment to transparency and accountability.

The AHA aims to standardize healthcare and ensure the highest possible quality of health service delivery in more than 5000 health institutions in the US. Therefore, the organization has a code of conduct that guides clinicians and service providers toward ethical practice, transparency, and accountability. One of the solutions the organization adopts to ensure adherence is intensive training and education to ensure that leaders and staff in medical institutions are aware of their obligations (Barch, 2022). Moreover, they occasionally update their medical ethics guide to guarantee that medical institutions and service providers access the latest trends and are equipped to handle ethical dilemmas. Thus, they strengthen ethical frameworks and sustain these practices across organizations.

AHA also has well-established structures that allow it to identify and address ethical issues. For example, the organization has systems to track institutional practices and investigate limitations or practices that contribute to nursing burnout and associated challenges. In addition, the organization adopts technological solutions in organizations to check on transparency and fairness. In particular, the organization critically analyzes the activities of insurance providers, payers, and other financial players to ascertain that they are credible and appropriate (Ensuring a More Ethical Workplace, 2022). Moreover, they direct institutions governing boards toward quickly resolving ethical issues using effective evidence-based solutions. These strategies allow AHA to track and resolve several issues before they result in adverse outcomes.

The AHA works hard to limit issues that interfere with service provision and high-quality delivery, including conflict of interests due to professional and personal obligations. As a result, the organization prioritizes the well-being of staff members using programs that alleviate their challenges and allow them to deliver on their duties. Most of these programs involve occasional training and education on how to manage personal issues and limit their implications on job performance (AHA releases Supporting, 2021). However, AHA has spearheaded the establishment of several self-help groups and social groups that help individuals through tough times and assist them in maximizing their motivations toward their practice. These initiatives have assisted many practitioners to come to terms with the increasing challenges of the profession, pay attention to their personal development, and ensure accountability in all actions.

The AHA is an organization that advances toward continuous development goals by challenging inequality and dismantling the existing cultural and structural barriers that plague healthcare systems. As a result, it oversees equitable service delivery and high-quality service provision for all individuals. Subsequently, the organization advocates for high ethical conduct by providing guidelines and standards to follow. Similarly, it adopts unique strategies like tracking organizational activities to ensure transparency and accountability. Similarly, it prioritizes the well-being of staff and service providers, thus allowing it to encourage personal development, professional development, and accountability through various programs and initiatives. Thus, its strategies allow it to achieve high levels of success.
