Modern technology has developed over the ages and it is truer in recent times. Every single day technology is developing, and new technology touches us every day. It provides us a better quality of life and makes our life easier and more comfortable. A vending machine is one of the effective creations made by humans. This machine provides us a better way of purchasing items and saves us a fair amount of time. However, the focal point of the essay is the condom vending machine. The reason behind the discussion is the argument in favor of condom vending machines in the high-school area, and the beneficial facts behind it.

Teenage is a very difficult time. Youths tend to indulge in sex during this period influenced by the sexual depiction in the popular culture. This creates interest in sexual acts and this often results in teenage pregnancies. It is the responsibility of the family members and peers to choose the right lifestyle. Once this is achieved, a teen can avoid teenage pregnancy and lead a life inclined towards a better career and a better life in the future. However, from the point of view of the authorities, actions should be taken immediately. That is why condom vending machines should be installed in high-school areas. (Jaccard, Dodge & Dittus, 12)

With the commercialization of sex, more people, especially teenagers, feel the pressure of taking part in premarital sex not realizing the difficulties the girls might have to face once they become pregnant. Teenagers should not have sex just to fit in or feel grown up and be popular among their friends. Most teen parents enjoy raising a child, as they feel responsible for it. Sex should be a wonderful emotional experience and not out of pressure.

By avoiding sex at an early age, these teenagers prevent teen pregnancies and single-parent families and secure their bright futures. Only when the parents of these teenagers openly discuss sexuality and the harmful effects of teen pregnancy with their teenagers are they most likely to understand the risks involved with sex and pregnancy and thus will act more responsibly. Single parents or teen parents have to give up their youth to raise another.

Babies also affect the emotional state of their parents causing changes in their relations. Most teenagers succumb to pressure and their lack of boldness prevents them from saying no to sex at a young age. Thus, teenagers should realize the problems they and their families can face if they get pregnant. As a result, protection is needed and the best protection is a condom. This should be made readily available and within reach. That is why condom vending machines should be installed in high-school areas. (Dickens, 177)

It is a matter of debate among various sects whether condom vending machines should be placed in public or not? However, condom vending machines will definitely provide us many benefits, especially for teenagers. Unprotected sex is very harmful to teenagers, and there is a need to be some control to stop this act. One of the best ways to solve this problem is to use a condom. By installing condom vending machines in high school areas would be beneficial for teenagers and stop unprotected sex. (Bensussen-Walls & Saewyc, 429-430)

Significantly, a condom is the most easiest and affordable way for healthier sex. It should be noted that the installation of condom vending machines in specific school areas would never harm or hurt the school authority or society. It is harmless and would never violate any social norm in the era of Aids and teenage pregnancies. On the other hand, the vending machine did not only provide a well-protected sexual habit, but it would also educate the students in the area about safe sex.

For instance, useful facts and tips programmed in the machine would indicate students to learn about proper protection methods and the effective use of a condom. This knowledge would provide the students with a better and healthy life. It is an excellent way for students and customers to study protected sex by themselves. (Kennedy, 16)

However, there are groups of people who would disagree upon this issue and one significant group is the religious sects. Condom is regarded as a violation of some religions. For instance, in Buddhism, a condom would be an unfavorable tool for most Buddhists. They would consider a condom as a sex symbol or an offense. (Allen, 733)

In conclusion, it should be stated that condom vending machine is the new way to educating students. However, religiously, a condom vending machine would go against some of the religions and might cause a bad impression for the people who live nearby. Nevertheless, condom vending would never harm any society more than Aids caused by unprotected sex. Thus, It depends on how much we open up our minds and face this issue seriously. It is a very strong issue to protect high-school students from being pregnant and cause problems for their families. It is very important that every teen would be able to protect themselves from unprotected sex.
