This leads to the study of Sumerian culture as he tries to define the nature of Snow Crash.

Kong is a very wonderful fictional film featuring Ann, Denham, and Kong, among others. Kong lives in Skull Island, where there exist other large invertebrates. The locals on that Island worship Kong, the giant ape. A crew of Ann and Dunham heads to this Island, where they fight dinosaurs. They manage to lure and trap Kong before they lift him to New York. The Ape seems to like Ann although he later dies in New York from bullet wounds.

The person I identified with

This story depicts Denham as a cunning individual but makes Ann an understanding and appreciative of nature. When they arrived in Skull Island, Ann sympathized with the Ape and was against its transportation. I, therefore, identify with Ann, since she appreciates her environment and sympathizes with Kong. On the other hand, Denham is very cunning and individualistic; he, therefore, values fame more than nature.

Reasons for engaging in the competition

Denham left New York with a warrant of arrest; he, therefore, wanted to take Kong back to New York to gain fame and his job.

Similarities between folks in the film and the Mythbusters fans or the Trekkers

The film shows people who are out to explore the mysteries of Skull Island. This is similar to Mythbusters in that they also explore science entertainment. Another similarity that comes out is the fact that these are virtual films full of fiction (Mythbustersfanclub, 2011, p. 1).

Online communities are Virtual worlds, which exist online. They are usually used by registered members. These communities are nowadays common in cyberspace and are sometimes real, where people who identify with one another can communicate.
