The battle of iOS vs. Android is a classic confrontation. Fans of both operating systems are sure that they use the best, but the opponent loses in many ways. Of course, both operating systems have strengths and weaknesses. However, some people are sure that in the battle between Android and iOS, the second one wins. To make a choice, one needs to figure out how the iPhone differs from Android.
The first and biggest advantage of Apple is security: they have a single store from which applications can be installed, no one makes amendments to the OS except the company itself. Therefore, iOS is less vulnerable. Android is largely susceptible to viruses and hacks. This is a consequence of the openness of the system — you can download and upload almost anything into it, including malware (Kollnig 13). In terms of optimization, the leadership should also be given to the iPhone. Only the basic necessary set of applications is installed on them.
Android can have many programs from the factory, which the user even sometimes never uses. The iPhone is better than its competitor in the face of Android and in the matter of the ecosystem of devices. Synchronization of all content can be arranged between all Apple gadgets. But the Android ecosystem is not that advanced. Gadgets do not interact with each other in the same way as Apple devices.
If one talks about the camera, then with different numbers of megapixels, the built-in camera on the iPhone will still be better. It is hard to find a worthy competitor in the assortment of Android smartphones. When buying a phone whose task is to create high-quality, clear and original photos and videos, it is the iPhone that wins here unconditionally. Consequently, the iPhone definitely gets the victory, because they offer better performance and last longer.
In conclusion, many more advantages can be added to the above points. For example, the regular release of new iPhone models, stylish design of gadgets, as well as high quality materials and assembly. That is why I give my preference to iOS devices, it wins in terms of usability, data security, ecosystem functionality and updates. Android has performed better in the design of the axis, the variety of applications and additional functions.
