In chapter seven of his book, Abrashoff talks about the importance of taking risks in any organization. Building up the people

Chapter nine of Abrashoff’s book talks about the need for the leader to instill confidence and strength in his followers. This not only improves the morale and the output of the followers, but it also builds up the leader at a personal level. The author acknowledges that it is part of the leader’s duty to ensure that followers and the employees enjoy their jobs and associate a sense of pride with their jobs.

In chapter nine, the author recognizes the impact trust has on any organization. In any organization, trust is the ingredient needed for progressive change. The author also acknowledges that in building one’s team, the new members need hospitable treatment. This instills self-confidence in the newbie as well as enthusiasm in his workmanship. According to Abrashoff, a leader should counsel his followers continuously with honest intentions. This will improve the spirit of the team.
