Introduction
The attributes that each team member possesses have a significant impact on the team’s productivity. The better the work of the entire team, the greater the profit and efficiency of the firm as a whole, and consequently, the more stable the company’s reputation on the market, the fewer weak “links” there are. As many personnel as possible must possess the skills required for the business to ensure the team’s and the firm’s success. The “working mechanism” will function flawlessly, and duties will be carried out per the organization’s objectives and missions. I can highlight the qualities that will help build a career: motivation, adaptability, and responsibility.
Personal Skills Useful in Professional Life
Motivation
First of all, I am a fairly motivated worker. Motivation has a significant impact on business. While the firm’s atmosphere significantly impacts employee motivation, the individual also plays a significant role (Ozkeser, 2019). Employees who are motivated are more effective, engaged, and perform better.
Since I have multiple goals, I can generate this motivation for myself. I constantly strive to be productive because I want to grow. I am more productive and have a reduced absenteeism rate because I am motivated.
For instance, during my training, I continually boosted my enthusiasm with short-term objectives, which helped me stay active. Thus, motivated employees provide a company with a good reputation as an employer, which makes it easier to find the best talent. Motivated employees can improve product and patient care.
Adaptability
In the modern workforce, adaptability is one of the most valued traits. This trait enables workers to adapt swiftly to the demands of the workplace, giving the company a chance to survive the crisis without suffering losses and outperform its rivals. A person’s ability to modify the course of their thoughts and all other intellectual activity following the objectives and constraints of their choice is expressed by their adaptivity.
I’ll use my experience in quarantine, when I had to radically alter how I learned, as an illustration. I easily adapted to the online format and can continue to be a great student. As a result, I can respond quickly and adaptably to customers’ continuously shifting needs, preferences, and requirements, quickly adapt to any reforms and deliver them without compromising quality, and maintain the company’s competitiveness in any situation.
Responsibility
Thirdly, I think of myself as somewhat responsible, which will also be helpful for my future profession. In a challenging situation, a responsible person does their best without placing the blame on others, tries their best, and accepts full responsibility for the outcome of their action or inaction. High personal responsibility individuals neither attempt to excuse their own mistakes or oversights nor look for others to take the blame for issues in their place. They also do not try to defend themselves by blaming outside factors. Instead, they conduct a thorough investigation and address issues as they arise.
For instance, I have always been accountable for my obligations since I was a child. I did all the tasks assigned to me on time and of high quality. It is worth mentioning that during my internship as a biller at a medical supply company, I showed my responsibility to the best of my ability. I took my responsibilities seriously, did not miss work days for no reason, and tried to do everything I was assigned the best I could.
Conclusion
Thus, my qualities, such as motivation, adaptability, and responsibility, are essential in my career. Even though I have them quite well, I do not stop developing them. I need to keep moving forward to see my progress and be motivated. In today’s environment, when the world constantly changes, every employee should have these qualities, making them most competitive in the labor market.
