Past
The role of learning is considered to be global in the life of every person. It helps to form and develop inner skills which will be the background for future activities. Learning is food for my brain. It gives a start for professional development. The role of learning in my personal life is more than significant. It takes one of the first places which should be taken into account. Personal growth and professional skills are merely based on learning because it is a motor of my life which will provide successful future.
The development of communication skills is one of the most important aspects for career foundation. Collaboration and information utilization are usually based on the level of communication skills. Frankly speaking, study helped me to increase the level of my written and oral skills of communication which were not so high developed from the very beginning. Nevertheless constant learning, brain training and job experience gave a start to the rapid improvement of my professional competence and collaboration activities. To my way of thinking this aspect is very important for the business running in any sphere and complete success in career development.
My career goals were aimed at the development of my own business. It allowed me to rely only on myself and I was pretty sure that my income depended on my personal efforts and success. I started my own business in 2005 by opening Real Estate investment. One year later I decided to devote my business activities to the foundation for children and their grandparents. This sphere was really interesting for me and I wanted to base my further business development on it. The main goal of mine was to reach success in the professional sphere and get moral and material benefits from my business.
Present
To tell the truth before my study courses I was considered to be rather a shy person. It was very difficult for me to express my personal opinion or develop an idea of mine. At the beginning of the learning process it was not so easy for me to stand my ground and prove personal considerations or facts. The experience provided in the process of learning helped me to work out my personal strategies of thinking and speaking. Since its beginning I managed to contribute a lot to the development of my collaboration and utilization skills. High level of communication skills provided by my course experience helped me to cope with major problems in my professional career.
In my program study I selected the following general courses:
- Quality Management
- Productivity and Human Recourse Management
General courses appeared to be useful for my background knowledge about management rules and peculiarities which are important for any sphere of job. My core courses of the study program were the following:
- Skills for Life Long Learning;
- Teamwork, Collaboration and Conflict resolution.
The choice of the core courses was focused on the skills needed for my personal career. I tried to look into the future and evaluate the meaning of the material provided at these courses. It should be stressed that the ability to make contacts with the partners and work in the team of specialists was worked out during this study program. The courses selected by me appeared to be useful for my personal growth and professional skills development. They helped me to find a way out of any difficult situation faced in the process of working.
The increase of the practice is the only point I would like to change in the study program for future students. I for one consider that theoretical material cannot bring such results as practice. Study program should provide more practical ours for the students to develop their personal and professional skills needed in their future career.
Future
My program of study will be completed next June that is why it is difficult to evaluate the situation. Nevertheless I feel happy to attend the courses of fine graduate students.
In my view the next five years of my life will be devoted to the fulfillment of the following goals:
- My personal goal is to continue enhancing my knowledge;
- Educational goal of mine lies in having my doctrine degree in Organizational Leadership;
- As to my professional goal, I would like to build my business into one of the largest Real Estate Investment companies on the international level and promote my foundation for children.
I am going to attend different programs devoted to the management field of business running in order to improve and develop my skills and knowledge in this sphere.
In my future career building I will develop psychological skills because they are necessary in my work on children foundation. Besides I am to develop business skills which will help to widen my company strategies and understand the main secrets of successful business planning, rules of management and aspects of difficulties overcoming.
I like to participate in organizations activities. I have been a member of the National Republic Congressional Committee since 2006. At present time I also attend all the function in Washington D. C. Tax summit meeting to the president dinner.
As for the conferences I would like to attend Deming Foundation on Quality Management, NRCC. I consider these conferences can be helpful for the development of my business.
As I have mentioned above learning is the motor of our life. I am going to continue the process of study in order to improve and develop my professional and personal skills. I would like to contribute into the sphere of study pursuing such additional degrees as:
- Master in Business Management;
- Doctrine in Organizational Leadership.
Thus, the analysis of my studies activities and plans for the future highlighted the role of the learning process and benefits which I have got from the courses learning. It showed the impact of the study process on my professional and personal development.
