Introduction
Marketing is a complicated part of a business that is perceived by people in different ways. Some individuals believe that it only has a positive effect on purchasing power, while others think controversially and state that marketing is evil (Hanssens & Pauwels, 2016). Marketing is defined as a new principle that was first used in the United States, and its main objective is to increase the quality and level of human life. Many social areas are closely related to this principle, and each affects it.
Relations with other Fields
Such areas of life as economics, social psychology, sociology, law, and political science can be connected to marketing and help to develop this sphere. However, some aspects can be seen as important, and others might mislead and raise suspicions of their usefulness. For instance, according to Chen and Yuan (2020), social psychology is one of the most important influencers on marketing development as many people have role models, which puts indirect psychological pressure on fans and makes the masses believe in approximately the same things. The word of mouth strategy is currently one of the most effective ways of the marketing sphere. Social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat have become integral parts of almost every person in the world. Consequently, marketing promotion of goods becomes the most facilitated.
Such aspect of life as the law also makes its contribution to the development of marketing, and it is usually undertaken by company executives and not publicly displayed. Gazley et al. (2016) stated that some marketing campaigns can violate the boundaries of potential customers and can carry an improper motive. The sphere of law is connected to almost all aspects of life, and in marketing, acting against the law and ethical rules can be punishable. For example, aggressive and stalker promotion is prohibited, and misleading advertisements are restricted.
I would agree with the marketing concept image as by studying this principle in more depth, the connection with other fields of life is becoming manifested in brighter colors. Each aspect presented in the image influences marketing differently, and such spheres as mathematics, theology, and politics might be incomprehensive for their need to those who do not study marketing.
The marketing concept image is supplemented with such aspects as languages and computer science. Marketing communication is one of the most important parts of any marketing campaign, and every top manager should correctly present their message to the international market. Secondly, computer science and software engineering are becoming integral in almost every sphere. Consequently, the development of programs for marketing promotions and advertisements on social media shows a high marketing campaign quality.
Conclusion
Nowadays, marketing plays a huge role in the business industry, and understanding this aspect is extensive, including many external areas of life like politics, psychology, sociology, and law. Advanced marketers with a huge experience take under consideration many spheres that seem to be unnecessary to the principle. Consequently, making marketing one of the most important industries in successful business development.
