Miu Miu is a well established label, from the House of Prada, that is oriented towards a younger clientele, and whose concept is geared towards a creative transformation to complement a woman who is impossible to define.
The store was named after its head, Miuccia Prada. She is the grand daughter of Mario Prada, who started the house of Prada in the year 1913. Miuccia took over the company in 1978. By the year 1992, She created a brand new line of clothes which is more affordable. The line targeted younger consumers and used Miuccia’s nickname, ‘Miu Miu’, as its label.
Miu Miu makes use of earthy colours and prints, and it also consists of more flowing shapes in comparison to the classic Prada line. However, the Miu Miu line still maintained the classic appearance and simple designs of the Prada label.
Miu Miu line consists of not only clothes, but shoes, shades, bags, and wallets. Miu Miu prides in being unique in both its line and ideals. Their line blends sophistication with nonchalance, elegance with immediacy and lightness, and independence with sensuality. The clothing line seeks to blend elements which naturally clash in a fashionable and modern way, which is unique to the House of Prada.
