Introduction
Installation of the nursing program continues to play a crucial part in laying scientific foundations. People’s current dimensional world requires the utmost research in various fields to improve living standards. Scientific foundations relate to critical thinking based on data that involves steps to raise the concepts of practice (Hodges et al., 2019). Research findings regarding the scientific foundations have created a chance to grow in service delivery. Hence, the program has prepared me to meet competency with proper knowledge of scientific research foundations and help provide the best care to the patients and the community.
Leadership
The idea behind growth in the entire nursing organization is based on solid leadership foundations. The leadership role enhances an environment that necessitates care, support, and efficiency in creating resources through proper decision-making and governance. The program has increasingly led me to embrace the core values of leadership that teach prosperity and growth. Meanwhile, involved stakeholders create the need for collaboration amongst themselves, and all personnel cooperate regardless of leadership position (Surjadi et al., 2019). There is the aspect of unbiased communication to foster relationships within the entire organization and community engagement in various capacities.
Quality
Concerning the growth of the whole program, there is development and remodeling of the quality competencies. The organizational structure continues to implore that quality requires satisfaction from every member involved. Therefore, the community has necessitated high-quality services, helping me acknowledge the importance of high assurance and quality service for the customers. The nursing organization has taught me how to enforce high quality and ensure that the community receives the utmost care they deserve.
Practice Inquiry
The nursing program creates the need for practice inquiry to enhance growth in its system. The major prospect for this module is to make room for people to ask and confirm the various guidelines that lead to change in the clinical experience. Practice inquiry allows one to assess how individuals improve themselves in providing nursing services, focusing on developing healthcare (Hodges et al., 2019). The learning process has continued to relate to the need for practice inquiry among fellow peers and the higher personnel with a more excellent experience. The need for working harmoniously and engaging the expertise of experienced healthcare practitioners as a core competency prepares my practicing skills during the actual healthcare delivery to the patients.
Technology and Information Literacy
The nursing organization entails learning computer-related skills regarding the ever-rising technological trends. Managing information and ensuring the patient’s records remain intact requires appropriate knowledge of how technology works (Surjadi et al., 2019). Technology benefits the nurses and patients in keeping tabs and ensuring that utmost care coincides with the provision and use of the best means of technology. The entire nursing educational process incorporates technological literacy that develops my skills in handling patient records and other helpful information to help serve the patients best.
Policy
The contributing factor to ensuring that the organization grows relates to stringent policies that promote governance and growth. Ethical approaches in this field all relate to what the organizational policies stipulate. The involved members must synchronize the related policies with their practice and ensure that patient care follows the necessary guidelines. Policies within the system have prepared me to cross-examine the effects of strict policies and establish healthy ones related to global views of the community during healthcare delivery.
Health Delivery System
Reinforcement related to the competent core systems interlinks with improving the health delivery system at all levels associated. The design fosters the building of relationships between the service providers and the patients. The delivery system involves the current and cultural aspects and noting which areas need improvement (Surjadi et al., 2019). A sound healthcare delivery system allows growth on the part of a collaboration to ensure that change takes place at any cost, improving my negotiation skills and teaching me how to create and maintain relationships.
Ethics
The idea behind decision-making relates from high leadership roles to junior workers, creating the need for high ethical practice. The core competencies as indicated by the nursing practitioner have led me to understand the true nature of ethics, its challenges, and its significance. It ensures that service delivery remains standard for all types of patients and highlights the consequences of one’s decisions.
Independent Practice
The program provides the need for core independent being in practice for growth. People can work as autonomous clinical practitioners to effectively incorporate various changes (Hodges et al., 2019). They must be willing to stay within lanes that include professionalism. Independent practice as a core competency has instilled in me that providing health care service as a separate entity is possible while upholding professionalism and high ethical practice.
Plan to Engage in Social Change in the Community as a Nurse Practitioner
As a nursing practitioner, one can engage in social change by trying to help every member of society without coercion. The first part of my plan is to ensure that individuals from any socioeconomic background can access health insurance. Secondly, I propose creating a social platform that gives voice to all community patients and involves them in acquiring proper medication prices and services benefiting everyone. Lastly, the plan suggests attracting more stakeholders to provide better treatment for the clients.
Conclusion
Some advocacy activities involving Florida state nurses are informing patients about hospital nursing resources and planning a pandemic response. According to Florida Nurses Association (2021), state nurses must be involved in coordinating pandemic-related issues and assisting with managing the crisis (Florida Nurses Association, 2021). Nurses must report the healthcare facility’s staffing information to their clients if they request this data (Florida Nurses Association, 2021).
