The main goal of any physical therapist is to provide a patient with an opportunity to restore all the necessary functional abilities and appropriate qualities (Erggelet et al., 2008). It is not always easy to help people with certain disabilities as much attention, care, and professionalism are required. Still, the quality of services offered as a result of physical therapy may be considerably improved utilizing special equipment. As a healthcare manager in the physical therapy department, I have to control all aspects of care and the ways in how help is offered to people in need. Being aware of the fact that the received orthopedic chairs are out-of-date and out of service for necessary repair, I have to inform healthcare staff about the shortages of new products, and our administrator is one of the first people who should know this news and be ready to take some actions. Some so many people hope to receive proper treatment and care to develop necessary skills for living as well as improve the damaged musculoskeletal system. A number of investigations prove that properly chosen orthopedic chairs for patients define the quality of services; this is why it is wrong to save money on human health but become more careful with patients’ needs (Rados, 2003). The current government provides the healthcare system with the necessary conditions for patients’ care, and we, the representatives of physical therapy, should consider all aspects of care to help people in the right way.
Argument
Orthopedic chairs are one of the main elements of the system that aims at improving human health and functional abilities; and if some problems with the chairs are observed, they have to be removed as soon as possible in order not to put patient’s life at risk. This is why it is crucially important to replace these expensive still out-of-date orthopedic chairs and think about other ways to assist patients. Health is the sphere that does not forgive human mistakes, so, we should avoid making any mistakes if we have a chance.

In addition to the poster where the main ideas of physical therapy and the duties of orthopedic therapists are defined, it is possible to take the received orthopedic chair and demonstrate how unsafe care may be. To convince the administrator to replace the equipment, it is necessary to use working material and explain the shortages of its use. And a poster that calls for action and identifies the challenges in the healthcare system will prove that such issues as out-of-date chairs for orthopedic therapy should be considered by medical staff as soon as they have been identified. The poster should contain brief information about the role of orthopedic chairs in therapy; still, more attention is paid to the illustrative material that explains to any person the role of proper equipment in medical care.
Communication Style and Tone
The choice of style and tone for presentation should be based on the audience that is identified by the speaker. In this care, the main audience is the medical staff and the administrator of the physical therapy department. It is necessary to address directly to the listener to convince that his/her role is important in the discussion. The tone of the presentation should be definite and confident because the listener should realize that no other way exists to solve the issue discussed in the presentation. The presence of visual elements (the poster created) will help to determine the purpose of the speech. And, finally, the examples from real-life discussed in a clear and persuasive tone have to be considered.
