Organization of Effective Training

Achievement of long-term and short-term goals, the need to increase competitiveness, and organizational changes require a higher level of professional training of personnel and well-planned, well-organized work on personnel training. At that, training should not be limited to imparting specific knowledge to employees and developing necessary skills. Ideally, the training is called to transfer to the workers also the information on the current state of affairs in the company and to promote development of understanding of prospects of development of the organization and the basic directions of its strategy, to increase the level of labor motivation, commitment of workers to the organization, and involvement in its affairs.

Short- and Long-Term Motivation

Short-term motivation includes specific, challenging, and reachable objectives that arise over a brief period. Long-term motivation, conversely, denotes a kind of ongoing dedication necessary to finish the work at hand (Shabbir, Ayub, Khan, et al., 2021). Short-term motivational issues, like a session, only last for a short time, so they must be resolved immediately to keep the learner interested in what they are learning. Like short-term learners, long-term learners’ motivation is vital for keeping them engaged over time and lowering their chance of dropping out.

Short- and Long-Term Goals

Short-term goals are focused on the present, emphasizing the need to work with available resources. Conversely, long-term goals are predicated on a vision of the future, necessitating the development of a plan that aligns with one’s life mission and purpose (Long-Term Versus Short-Term Goals: What You Need to Know). Short-term goals are generally easier to achieve than long-term goals due to shorter timeframes, which makes it easier to gain a sense of progress and avoid procrastination quickly. In contrast, long-term goals are often more complex and thus more challenging to complete.

The Role of Financial Compensation in Motivation

In the U.S., several rules govern minimum wages and their comparable value. The relevant rules prescribe compensation for the standard amount of time worked or for the amount of work produced. The violating party must pay additional compensation if the prescribed requirements are not met. In addition, the U.S. national minimum wage policy allows both employers and employees to receive extra compensation for above-standard work or the amount of work produced. This increases the motivation for workers to be productive, and employers have more influence over their workers’ compensation levels. This policy also helps maintain workers’ living standards and the population’s purchasing power.
